[Anyone in the girls dorm, might notice what looks like a young boy hovering around the door for room B115. This supposed young man seems to be pacing and just generally glaring at the door in general distrust.]

Awe man. I can't do this. Share a room with a girl?

[Tugging on her unruly hair, Masaki can't help but frown. Maybe it'd be better to request a new room. The last thing she needs right now is some stranger to start screaming because a boy came into her room without knocking. Geeze. Thinking she hears something coming from inside the room, she turns and bolts down the hallway at top speeds.]

Forget it. I can't do this!

Oi! What's someone got to do to get a room change around here? I need to know asap. I can't share a room with a strange girl.

[Masaki screeches to a stop, hair even more mussed than normal. Flustered doesn't even begin to cover it.]

Sorry, didn't big you did I? I was just trying to find my room.

Oh, which room are you assigned to?

[She smiles. She might be relatively new, but she should be able to do that]

I think they put me in the wrong room.

In the wrong room? Why would you say that? What's wrong with it?

[She jerks a thumb back towards a door down the hall where Thumbelina may or may not be seen peaking around trying to figure out just what was going on.]

They put me in that room.

[With a girl, Kori! A girlie girl at that! She's had a few friends who were girls, but she's never had to live with one before.]

[Kori looks down the hall in the direction that Masaki indicates and definitely looks surprised at that. She didn't think they had co-ed rooms. She'd only seen boys here if they were going to see one of the girls]

That room? But... its on the girl's hall.

Yeah, I know.

[To correct this stranger or not. That's the question. She'll just make a hint about it.]

I wouldn't mind normally, but I'm not really used to living with other girls.

[Oooooh... she's got it now. She's a girl! She feels a little silly for not realizing it sooner]

[Hell, half the time her own brothers refer to her as their "bro", it's really that bad.]

Yeah, I'm sure she's fine, but just think about it. I walk into the room and they're going to think I'm some strange guy who just barged in. If I knock I'm still some strange guy.

Well, maybe if you tell her that you are her roommate and a girl. The school wouldn't place a girl and a guy in the room together.

I haven't lived with another girl since my mom died.

Oh... I'm sorry to hear that you lost your mother. That must be very hard. So it has just been you and your father?

It's not too bad most of the time, but it does get weird sometimes.

[She's basically just resigned to the fact that she'll never be the woman her mother was.]

Nah, I have two older brothers too. Then there's all the guys who train at the dojo. They're pretty much family too their around so often.

Oh... that would make it more difficult, always being around guys. It's really not that difficult to live with girls.

I've gone to school with other girls before, I've just never lived with any. Don't they keep things neat and pretty or something?

[She's been raised in a house of slobby guys, their bad habits have rather rubbed off on her.]

Not all of them. Some guys can be neat, some girls can be messy.

None of the guys I've ever met.

[But this lady looks older, so she's probably seen a lot more. Not to mention the whole yellow-orangey thing.]

I still dunno about this living with a girl thing, just seems way too weird.
