[Lost Junpei is lost. The school deal he can handle. The dorms deal he can handle. Even the giant inexplicably floating island-sorta-thing he can handle. But he's not all that great with directions, and he's pretty sure he's been past this corridor about six times already. He doesn't want to ask the creepy guys in robes with turkey platters over their faces--they don't look very hospitable--but he's starting to wonder if he's ever going to find his dorm room. A217... A217...

Crap.

These books are getting heavy. He really wishes he had his stupid purple backpack right about now.

Hefting the books, Junpei turns down yet ANOTHER corridor, hoping perhaps to find a big helpful YOU ARE HERE sign.]

Dude, not being able to swim ain't a curse--you just have to work on it! [Your point. He just missed it entirely.] I'm a great swimmer, so I could even help you sometime, if you want. Summer's no fun if you can't like go swimming at the beach!

No, look. [Marco no longer cares if it freaks the guy out, he's covering his arm and hand in a fine blue fire that while it looks awesome, it won't burn, just feel warm and soothing to the touch.] I have fire in my blood. If I tried to swim I'd drown. It's not a matter of not knowing how, it's a matter of I can sprout wings and fly, but I'll never ever be able to swim.

You serious? [He watches the flames a moment, then gives Marco a grin.] That's really pretty awesome. I wish I had some kind'a healing ability--it's pretty useful, huh.

You can learn healing magic in the classes here. And they're a little more versatile than this. The main flaw with this -- beyond that it's weak to water and cannot burn -- is that it doesn't heal anyone else.

Oh, can you? That's useful. [Junpei isn't sure he's got the knack for it like Yukari and the others do--he's better at breaking stuff than fixing it--but it would be a good thing to learn, regardless.]

So you can only heal yourself? That's still pretty cool, though; you don't have to worry about getting all beat up and becoming a hindrance to your comrades.
