Well, there are a lot of people interested in relationships...and given that they made ballroom dancing a mandatory class here it kind of got me wondering about people's attitudes here, you know?

Thanks! For my assignment, I'm probably just going to use the poll like "10% of people said ___", and try to research local social traditions for dating and stuff.

Makes sense. Any idea if there are certain rules here? I know the guidebook for students says that students are supposed to think about consequences before getting in a serious relationship, but that doesn't seem so much like a custom as good solid advice.

I believe in fate. If it happens, it happens, and one should not deny it. There is a reason why we have the term 'love at first sight'. It's not made up, nor illogical!

I'm not sure...I don't think there's any strict rules about dating.

I don't think it's a rule so much as a guideline, since it wasn't covered all that much in Garden Code.

It would be a silly thing to make a rule about, anyhow. That's practically inviting people to go do it in secret.

Fair enough. I mean, in a group like SeeD, there's the chance of having to work away from your girlfriend or boyfriend for months at a time, or even of being killed...so I guess they just want people to think about stuff like that before they fall head over heels for someone.
