So what does one do on the Disciplinary Committee?

I was given a brief summary of what's involved and then there was some paperwork, but I'm still a little confused. Do I need to introduce myself or is there someone I report to?

Everyone's got use for money. Well no... my Pops never did. But it still takes money to pay the ship coatings and drinks and food and nurses bills. You can't steal everything after all.
