Oh, sailing. I get it.

A fair number of people do still sail where I'm from, but most of the time blastia is more convenient.

Blastia are tools used to convert aer into usable energy. The aer from the surrounding environment is taken into the core, and the output is controlled with a formula. They can be used for everything - to power machines, provide light, water and fire, and barriers against monsters. They can even enhance a person's strength and abilities.

When it comes to research, I'm the world authority on blastia. They don't seem to exist here, so I'm interested in what other worlds use.

I'm not really sure what this world uses. Magic I guess. We don't have that in my world so the whole thing seems a little sketchy.

A lot of it seems to be electricity! I'm familiar with the concept, but haven't seen anything on this scale before! The applications are so diverse I couldn't have even imagined it!

I can't wait to start my electives this quarter! Although I expect I will need to use the library to get into the real meat of the subject.
