[Marco is amusedly watching a red ball of yarn roll across the lawn. This alone wouldn't be so interesting, but the reason it keeps rolling is a certain red-haired shinigami attempting to catch it, and whenever Grell gets close enough to actually catch the ball, Marco discreetly tugs a thin wire jerking it off and away. Of course, he looks completely deadpan about it, but every so often he just chuckles evilly to himself and makes it look like it's about the Hide-and-Go-Seek games planned.

To which, there is a list of various prizes for the games in his lap.]

I wonder if it'd be a problem for a member of the Disciplinary Committee to offer up rum as a prize. Is there even a drinking age around here? Does it matter? [Clearly Marco is great at keeping people out of trouble.]

[The ball was right there, but it slipped through his fingers. Grell snapped his fingers at missing his target, but he did notice something.

Teleporting worked.

So he did it again, standing above the ball with a maniacal grin. Oh, he found that weakness.]

[Well the game just got a lot harder as Marco had to start thinking more strategically to keep the ball rolling without giving himself away in the process and jerked the wire in a completely different direction than it had been rolling to try to throw Grell off.]

[The ball switched its movement, since one minute it was within Grell's line of sight, the next it wasn't. He looked around and spotted the ball in the other direction. How nice of the ball to spice things up!

Grell teleported quickly and was on the hunt again! He reached out, practically touching the yarn. So close~!]

[At this rate Marco was going to have to take off flying and the ball was at the end of the wire which meant the pirate needed to tug it back in closer once more.]

[RED BALL OF YARN GET! After teleporting several times, Grell managed to catch it. He did a bit of a victory dance and hugged the ball close to his form with a grin.]

Got you~! You're not getting away now!

[Now Marco just felt guilty tugging it away given Grell's adorably happy expression. On the other hand, not guilty enough not to tug it. YANK!!]

[OH HEY NOW! Grell has a grip on that ball, and finally realizes that there must be someone else trying to take away his new gem. Nuh uh!

Grell yanks back with vigor, a deep frown on his face.]

[Digs his heels in so he doesn't go flying at least, but lets the wire go with a small grunt.]

[Oh, that person was going to get it! Grell yanks back harder, taking a few steps back as well with noises of effort.]

My...yarn ball!

Found a new toy kitten? [Arches an eyebrow and deadpan pretends to have nothing to do with it.]

[Grell stumbles a bit when the string slackened, but gaines his balance with a triumphant grin. Grell: 9000! Mysterious Yarn Thief: ZILCH!]

Yep! It was just...rolling around! [Curiously stares at the ball before shrugging.] Oh well.

[Looks to Marco with a raised eyebrow.] Where did you come from? Not that I want you to go away~.

I've been here. [But he has the AMAZING tendency to pop up out of nowhere. Technically he drops down, but he enjoys the surprised and confused looks when he's just suddenly there.] Working on the prize list for tomorrow. [Holds up the sheet.]

[Looks to that list, reading off the prizes before gasping.] A wish?!

[Pets under Grell's chin affectionately.] Limited wish. You already get it on a constant basis.

[Hums in content, wishing he could actually purr.] I suppose I can share.

[Pets and tickles more, enjoying the humming more than a purr anyway.]

[Grins and latches onto Marco, grip still tight on that yarn ball.]

You're so good to me. [Looks up to him with a smile.] I'm going to do something special for my firebird.

Oh really? [Grins cheerfully, kind of just happy that Grell's so happy.]

Yes, really. [Taps Marco's nose with a grin.] You don't treat me like trash or anything.

[Stares at deadpan and draws out slowly.] Why would I?

[Shrugs.] Might have to do with killing whores and all. [That wasn't only it, but yeah...]

[Shrugs and still deadpan.]

People are just so uptight at the Ministry. [Grins and tosses his yarn ball lightly up and down in his hands.] I like it here so far~.
