[Anyone who passes by Katara might be wondering why exactly she's nearly uprooting all the plants within the vicinity. By the furrow of the brow and the way she's muttering herself, it seems as though she's searching for something, and has been on the prowl for quite some time.

At the moment, she's poking around one of the empty benches, blue eyes critically scanning the ground around and underneath the metal seating. She can't help but upturn a couple of large rocks decorating the grass as well, though she knew it was unlikely she'd find her lost possession under any boulders.]

Where could it be? It has to be somewhere in this school...

[She looks up at the unfamiliar voice, and upon noticing her SeeD uniform, Katara immediately straightens. Gotta stay on the good side of the faculty, especially with her bad start.]

[Xu smiled. Some of the newer cadets were really endearing. Her posture relaxed, and she moved forward a bit.]

[They, of course, don't take kindly to that friendly tone. One girl turns her nose up at Katara, arms folding over her chest. Another makes another face, shaking her head. The third is who chimes up.]

We don't have any use for such trifle things. And If you're looking under rocks and under plants - I don't even want to know what you were doing there before you lost this 'necklace'.
