002 [quad]
[Anyone who passes by Katara might be wondering why exactly she's nearly uprooting all the plants within the vicinity. By the furrow of the brow and the way she's muttering herself, it seems as though she's searching for something, and has been on the prowl for quite some time.
At the moment, she's poking around one of the empty benches, blue eyes critically scanning the ground around and underneath the metal seating. She can't help but upturn a couple of large rocks decorating the grass as well, though she knew it was unlikely she'd find her lost possession under any boulders.]
Where could it be? It has to be somewhere in this school...

Why are you doing that? Those poor plants...

Oh! I'm just looking for something that I lost... [She looks a bit sheepish.]

I'm looking for my necklace-- it's a carved pendant on a ribbon of blue silk. Would you have happened to have seen it?

I can't remember... I didn't notice it was gone until a couple of days ago. I've looked around the library and cafeteria but I've had no luck.

Yes, I did lose something-- and I have a name.
no subject
Big or small?
[He means whatever you lost.]
no subject
It's small-- a necklace. It's a carved pendant on a ribbon of blue silk. Have you seen it?

I lost my necklace. I've been looking around for it, but I can't seem to find it...

Oh-- yes, ma'am. I lost my necklace, and I'm trying to find it.

Tell me what it looks like, and I'll help?

It's a carved pendant on a ribbon of blue silk... it's not too big.

It's no different in this case, as the three approach Katara and give the foreigner weird, disgusted looks.]
What are you doing?

I'm looking for a necklace-- it's a carved pendant on a ribbon of blue silk. Have any of you seen it?

We don't have any use for such trifle things. And If you're looking under rocks and under plants - I don't even want to know what you were doing there before you lost this 'necklace'.
-- Yeah. That's pretty disgusting.

What's that supposed to mean?
