No. Nothing in the world works like that. [and hadn't Marco been pushing him to give them a chance? To work with them? Well he was in the only way he knew how. It had been quick and effective]

[He contemplates this. How it wasn't just him and Papa, even though it didn't mean Pops loved him any less and nods his head before curling up to rest on Thatch's chest.]

[Not sleep tired, emotionally drained. As that is how Marco feels after days of dealing with a lot of emotional things at once.]

Aye. Exhausted. But they are well and truly charmed so the hard part is over. [and he closes his eyes and strokes his hand along Marco's side, feeling the glossy glowing feathers glide under his fingers]

Grell is handy with technology-- do you know what that means, Marco? Do you know what we can do with that? It's power in this world as sure as GFs and limit breaks. And Espio, well, we have an understanding so long as I let him be selfish this one day. We'll see if he gets any more.

[he chuckles and nuzzles the top of Marco's head]
