[Marco thinks this over. Part of him wants to argue it. Grell wouldn't be so easily stolen, Thatch wasn't Grell's type because Grell wasn't just violent, she was also secretly sweet and tender and someone like Thatch with all experience and all incapacity to stay would be a negative thing. But Marco truly believed Thatch could steal anyone, and that he was indeed everyone's type. His eyes narrow.]

I don't just regenerate, yoi.

[Another head tilt. Was he testing him? To see how possessive of Grell Marco could be? It didn't count with Thatch though. Marco would merrily kill anyone else, but he'd never be able to bring himself to kill Thatch. He'd be more happy giving his brother his life than ever have the capacity to take it from him.]

[Marco was about to explain that of the two of them Grell was not actually the more sadistic of them, but surely Thatch had to realize that. Of course even Marco had limits, things he didn't want to do to someone he loved so much and his brain temporarily got distracted with the mental image of Grell and Thatch getting into a fightsex relationship. Weird.]

[Quick as lightning, he grabbed Thatch by a handful of hair down to the roots and tugged him so he could growl in his ear.]

If you think to touch my red tiger, you'd better be prepared for the ride of your life, because you'll only come out of that experience a changed man. [His eyes narrowed and Marco snorted in amusement, lightly shoving his younger brother away. If Thatch wanted to take that as a challenge, so be it. Marco would just have to ask Grell to go easy on the man. Or maybe he wouldn't. He really was the sadist of the two of them.]

[his heart jerked at the pull, and for just a moment-- He distracted himself by the pain still throbbing in his head]

[and he knows he can't take it. Not really. It's fine for a joke, and even for some fun, but this isn't a joke and Marco's voice echoes like brittle ice snapping in his brain and it was all he could do not to elbow him in the gut.]

[Smirks softly, but then he laughs and gently hugs Thatch to kiss it better.]
