Well of course I'm easy. [he obliges, stroking Marco's neck and under his chin and all his sweet spots to get him fluttery with bliss] You think I get laid so often because I'm hard to get?

[and even though he knew it, he couldn't help but feel a burst of warmth at that whistle]

[Heeeeeeeee chin tickles.... Fluttery with bliss indeed. Have some affectionate birdie nuzzles in return.]

I'm not even sure you get laid often lately. [But the words have absolutely no edge whatsoever because Marco stretches back until he's sprawled upended in Thatch's lap.]

[Chirping like he hasn't seen the sky in days. Yup. Those fingers man. He's just a little bit giddy here gosh.]

[He indulges Marco completely, lavishing him with all the affection his fingers can come up with. Marco's pleased chirpy feels were the best sounds in the world, bar--well one or two.]

[More happy chirps and he wriggles in Thatch's lap, making it a temporary nest.]

It'd be worth it. [just rubs his cheek against that fluff. Soft glowy feathers are the best feathers. Who needs a pillow?]

[Okay he will fluffle all around you and protect you with his wings.]

[Marco puffs up a bit bigger, hops into a higher position and wraps around Thatch like a giant blue shield.]

I prefer being able to wrap around you like this though.

That's because you're a masochist. [he smiles as he says it, though, and leans back against Marco's feathery chest, watching the blue light]

You be my shield and I'll be your spear, eh? [he reached out and combed his fingers through glimmering feathers]

[Leans his head against Thatch's and nods.]

Okay. Sounds like a good use of a phoenix and snake.

[smiles and reaches up to scratch his cheek]

Speaking of, I've been thinking up ways we can fight as a unit. Though I don't know what everyone has junctioned...

[and he doesn't want to speak to that woman if he can help it]

[Flicks his tail apprehensively and leans into the cheek scritches with a head tilt.]

[well he'd meant 'now'-- but maybe later. After all there was still time and he still had some things of his own to go through before he could really attempt to see what they were made of. Instead, he just enjoy's Marco's company]
