[ So there's another new face in Balamb garden, Leanne had found herself here in this world way early in the morning. She's had some time to let the information settle in her brain but she's still not sure what to make of it, or even what to make of this place. It's big, the single building probably as big as Ebel City. So she's wandering around, a little bit lost. She looks down at the paper she's holding once in a while, mumbling to herself. ]

...guess it's a good thing I got here on the weekend.

[ She stops by the directory eventually trying to figure out where everything is, where she'll have to go for classes, lunch, her room, all of it. Just focusing on what she can do right now. ]

This is all so strange.

[ Terra was about to head into Balamb town to work with the Chocobos, but spotting someone she didn't recognize at the directory, she pauses. A newcomer? Someone lost? ... the chocobos can wait a few minutes more.]

Huh? [ The voice startles her a bit. She smiles a bit when she turns and sees someone talking to her. It's kind of nice, some of the other people haven't been very friendly. ]

Oh, yeah I'm fine. Just a bit overwhelmed.

It is all a bit much to take in. I was pretty overwhelmed when I first got here too. [ She pauses, glancing around. ]

Well... [ She hm's in consideration. It's probably nothing she can't figure out herself but she's just relieved that someone's not treating her like an alien. ] I'm just trying to figure out where all the classes I have are really.

Somewhat. I've been debating on whether I should attend classes. I've been informed that since the quarter is almost over, and midterms are next week, those of us who just arrived are not required to attend classes.

Still, I've been told we can "audit" them if we wish, and do the work just for the sake of having something to do.

I don't really understand the whole "quarter" thing but then I never went to an actual school... I figure it can't hurt to get started, the work isn't going to get easier.

[ She sighs a bit. ] It's been a while since I've had to do this sort of studying, it's a bit nerve wracking.

[ yuffie's running around the garden with a bunch of books in her arms, gathering some last minute materials for her assignment due on monday and really, she wouldn't be damned to ever do the schoolwork here but the fact that this was her third consecutive missing homework...welp, it just really boiled down to her having no choice on the matter. she's running so hard in fact that she completely misses leanne standing there and practically slams right into her, books flying. ]
