Hey guys! I just read the newsletter and it says that SeeDs can join the various committees and stuff now. So! Remember how we were talking about this around the time I arrived back home? Am I in or am I out? :D I'm sure between the three of us that we can come up with all sorts of awesome ideas for the next Festival and any other little events that might help with funding of your various projects!

Hello Balamb Garden! Selphie here on the BBS stating that I've woken up from my weekend long veg!fest! Yeah, yeah, I know. As a SeeD, I should be setting a better example and continuing work even though I felt like I'd been trampled by a stampeding herd (...flock?) of Chocobo's, sometimes you just have to take care of yourself!

So yeah, I kinda slept for a good chunk of the weekend. Don't worry, I remembered to eat and bathe and gulp down a potion or two. Speaking of potions, is it me or are they tasting worse than I remember? They always used to taste a bit bitter but now the taste is just awful!

And speaking of awful stuff, I have a little message to a certain group of cadets who I had to keep bailing out all the time. If I ever catch the lot of you trying to take on a Tri-Face with obviously underdeveloped GFs ever again, I'm honestly going to let you learn the hard way and let you...

It's a surprise! ^_~ You'll just have to use your imaginations, won't you? You know who you are!

Now then... to find something to do other than training.

[And having not found anything of interest to do, Selphie can be found in a) The Training Centre, b) The Library or c) The Quad with her nose stuck in a graphic novel. What are you going to do Garden?]

Thanks! We're meeting at 0700 at [a dorm number on the female side of the dorms]. Some of us are wearing red or pink, but since most people will be at breakfast, I don't think it's too important.

Professor Slughorn? Wait, we have courses on just potions now? Jeez. Things have gotten way more complicated from back then.

I think so. Missions and stuff like that help too. I gotta keep an open mind about this stuff or I'll never adapt.

Well, it wasn't like anyone here had a lot of time to really develop GFs. We did get this whole "Go to place with killer murder monsters" thing sprung on us without any warning.

I know, I know but learning your limits is important too. Or maybe learning that it's okay to run away.

Definitely that second point.

... The commander told us we were supposed to learn how to get stabbed and that we wouldn't die while junctioned.

I think most of us all knew the "run away" part.

[Greed isn't approaching in a dramatic way today, which is surely shocking! He's just... walking up to her like a normal human being. Which he isn't.]

[The minute Selphie hears Greed's voice and the lovely comment, her cheeks take on a bright pink shade as she pulls the graphic novels up to completely cover her face.]

Comics. Reliving my childhood. I didn't know that they'd compiled them all into books like this.

[She'll drop the book below her eyes to peer up at Greed curiously.]

Oh yeah? Whatcha got?

[He rounds her to come around to her back, casually cocking an elbow to lean it on her head as he bends down to look at what she's reading.]

[Ow. Selphie moves forward on the bench so that her head is effectively freed of Greed's elbow. She'll look over her shoulder at him before frowning at him, firmly closing the book at the same time.]

I'm not a leaning post, thank you very much!

[He spreads his hands apologetically, though his smile doesn't fade.] Hey, sorry. You're all muscle and spunk, I didn't even think you'd notice me there.

Okay! So I'll prop my elbow on your head and you'll understand how uncomfortable it is.

[In the meanwhile, Selphie holds up the cover of the book that says it's a compilation of the old battle series comics.]

[He obligingly sits down on the bench next to her, gesturing invitingly to his head.]
