I'm not sure how to feel about figuring out I've been here a year or so now. I like it here fine, and I still have Eugene and Mot--and Gothel. I guess it's a little hard, knowing I have people waiting for me back home, but so far we haven't figured out a way to control this Time Compression to make it take us home from here, so it's not like there's a lot I can do about that. Still, I'm curious. How long have you guys been here and do you want to go home or find you actually quite like it here?

Oh, and congratulations on the winners at Homecoming! I had fun, and I hope everyone enjoyed themselves.

It doesn't matter if it is just a dream. It's a place you obviously had, or have, a connection to; home. Especially if you miss it.

No L. And... you ever been to Esthar? Take the best of that and the best of here, and make it into a city that never sleeps. Zanarkand was... home.

I haven't been to Esthar yet. I'm sorry it's in ruins now. Maybe if you make it back you can work on rebuilding and restoring it?

I'd like to go home, if only to tell my mom and her boyfriend that I'm okay. :( Otherwise, Garden's not bad! I'd become a doctor much faster here, and I'd get experience that I wouldn't have had back home.

Plus, you're not there. (Sorry about Homecoming btw!! at least the campaign was fun?)

I'd probably feel the same, if I didn't have Eugene and Gothel here with me, so I know what you mean. I'm glad you're getting so much study here, and experience.

It's okay. It was still fun and something new that I hadn't done before!

Thanks! It's certainly a different kind of experience compared to back home, since more people here have powers, but it's been good.

I'm glad :) Homecoming's not my favorite thing, but it's fun when you don't take it super seriously. [She might be trying to rationalize her campaign efforts here - she did take them seriously, but it wasn't world-shattering when Punz lost]

It's definitely different for me, I was the only one I knew with any kind of special power, not to mention a lot of the things I know I taught myself of Gothel did, not really in classes like we have here.

Nothing is fun if you take it too seriously, Cissie! It doesn't really matter to me that I didn't win, just that I had fun and got to try be involved in something new I hadn't done back home before.

Do you like classes though? Or was it better when you taught yourself? I've never been homeschooled so I wouldn't know which is better.

LOL yeah, you're right! I had a lot of fun running your campaign too :) I met a lot of people that I didn't really see before!

Well, we might have it. Maybe not tomorrow, but you never know. I ended up leaving the tower and seeing the lanterns, which I wasn't sure if I would.

I guess. But even so, until then, we might as well make the most of the situation. We're all in this together and I'm sure eventually we'll figure it out. Let people stay or go home as they want, from then on.

I don't dislike everything about this place! We're all in the same boat, so we've all had a bit of a chance to bond.

But I know I'm needed back there.

I am too, but that doesn't mean we can't make the most of this and make friends while we are here?

Right! We're still trying to make friends. There's no need to keep to ourselves all this time.

And who knows? We just might have great things ahead of us here.

Right, I mean, there is a lot we can learn from each other, I think. I've already learnt so much from Cissie. We have all these people here we wouldn't have been able to meet back home, and opportunities I know I wouldn't have back home either.

I've been here for over a year and a half now... I do like it here, but I'd love to see my family and friends again and let them know I'm safe. I'd been away from them for a while even before ending up here. And I was doing something important on my home world that I'd like to finish, too.

That's a long time, and you were away from your family even before that? I guess at least, from what I gather it is like we never left back home. But I hope you do make it back to them, Mikuru.

I am sure it was. Nobody does something like leaving family for something trivial, of course it was important, and I am sure they would understand. I guess there is the chance they might show up here?

I had a way to get back before they even knew I was gone, so it would kind of just be me missing anyone. I hadn't thought about them coming here, though! That would be nice.
