I'm not too sure about that. There are subtle differences in the path of technological progress in every world, and there are things we can learn from methods of the past. Don't treat it too seriously, I'm just curious.

[Shrug.] If you say so. All I know is, most of the stuff I used to think was cutting edge gets filed under History here... if it shows up in their books at all. And everyone treats alchemy like it's either magic or some kind of ancient joke, when they've even heard of it. Doesn't seem too subtle to me. [A tinge of resignation creeps into his voice there, but he at least says it with an airy smile. And while blatantly standing there with two pretty much cyborg limbs. Totally backward.
