Um, hello. I guess I should introduce myself... my name is Fujieda Yoshino, and in case it wasn't obvious, I'm new here.

And I'm Lalamon! It's a pleasure to meet you all!

[Yoshino blinks, and smiles fondly at her friend before continuing]

I never asked to be here, but I guess I should make the most of it. Once the new term starts, I'm going to be taking classes here, and I guess Lalamon will be here will be doing them with me...

Nothing's going to stop us!

[sigh] Lalamon... [ahem] Anyway. Um. Yeah, I guess that covers it. Oh, yeah! Erm, to someone named Ahri... Lalamon and I are your new roommates. I hope we can get along with one another...

*Chika giggled, smiling as Yoshino walked over.*

Hey. So, how are you holding up? With... everything here I mean?

*Piyomon blinked, staring up at Lalamon for a moment, and swallowed.*

Hey! Have you seen some of the humans eating here? They're worse than I am and I haven't eaten since this morning.

Pretty good, all things considered... what about you?

[Lalamon growled, and whapped Piyomon over the head with her tiny arms]

THAT'S NO EXCUSE!

I've been doing pretty good so far too. I'm not too happy about the fact that without a special sci-fi tech thing that I can't talk to anyone here, but other that that I'm doing okay.

*Piyomon frowns.*

Fine, fine. I'll slow down. Just stop that.

*Chika smiles, looking over at Piyomon for a moment, before turning back to Yoshino.*

I guess we have it easier than others do though. I mean, we already knew that another world existed. What's one, or I guess a gajillion more?

I guess that's one way to put it.. and I guess while we're here, we should make the most of it.

[she thought for a moment] So, are you going to be taking classes?

*Chika nodded.*

Yeah. I mean, even though I really don't like to fight all that much, here it's kinda necessary. What with all the monsters who want to eat you that live outside of cities.

And it's not like I'd be able to not need to hide Piyomon all the time if I decided to try doing something else.

*Piyomon looked a bit upset.*

You didn't need to choose this because of me.

*Chika shook her head.*

Hey. It's not just because of you. I want to be able to help out too.

... Calm down, Piyomon. Look at this as a way for you both to get even stronger, alright?

Yeah! This can help all of us make up for areas where we need work! For instance, I signed Yoshino up for home ec!

*Chika blinked, before she burst out laughing.*

Yeah, exactly. I mean, I'm taking a lot of the basic combat classes we need to get them out of the way. Still not a hundred percent sure what I'm going to want to specialize in though. I think I might do martial arts since Daddy already taught me some, but I might go for a bladed weapon too.

... You did think to make sure that she still needed it before doing that, right?

Oh, yeah, definitely! How she survived so long without me, I'll never know! Why, she's already got a decent pile of dirty laundry...

[Yoshino looked like she wanted to dig a hole and hide in it]

*Chika just shook her head.*

Anyway, what other classes are you going to take?

Um... well, let's see...

[Yoshino reached into her pocket, and retrieved a list, which she then read aloud for Chika.]

... I'm going to see if I can't talk to a superior and get some of the compulsory classes checked... I've already done a fair number of things like them both in DATS and at the Academy...

Yeah, that'd probably be a good idea. You could probably test out of a lot of the stuff I'm taking.

Though we still seem to be taking a few of the same classes anyway. I'm taking both Political Science and Tactical Strategy, and Military Movement. Oh, and that one about those Guardian Force things too.

I see... are we taking any of them at the same time? Maybe we can help each other with our course work...

*Chika blinked, and moved to take out her own list as well.*

That's a good question... wait, what?!

*She shook her head, looking over the list again.*

Umm... it looks like we're taking ALL of them at the same time.

Yeah. It really is. I mean, I'm not complaining, but you'd think we wouldn't be that lucky.

*She turns to look at Piyomon, who finally looks like he's done with his food.*

And it looks like you're ready too.

Well... I'm still a bit hungry...

*Chika just sighs.*

I thought you didn't eat as much as Agu-chan.

[both Lalamon and Yoshino laugh]

Come on, Piyomon. You finally have the chance to be partners with Chika-chan... don't you want to be in the best physical condition for her?

...I guess. But what does not eating until I'm full have to do with that?

Digimon can still get fat, can't they?

They can! Do you want to be so heavy you can't fly?

*Piyomon just sighs.*

Okay, okay. I'll stop eating for now!

*Chika giggles a bit, before turning back to Yoshino.*

So, where have you already looked at?

Um... mostly the dormitories, the commons area, a few of the offices... I don't really know where everything is yet.

Kinda the same for me. Only I haven't checked out the dorms yet. I'm going to do that later though.

We should... probably avoid the Training Center for right now though. We don't really know how strong Lalamon and Piyomon are going to be against the monsters in there just yet.
