As a reminder, signups for the carnival booths and talent quest will be open in the cafeteria until Thursday afternoon. [We're particularly light on signups for the kissing booth, dunk tank, and food booths.]

Date auction signups, however, are now closed. Tomorrow [actually in about twelve hours with some forward-dating] we will be auctioning off the following people for dates:

[Billy gapes at his screen. His first instinct is to protest and attempt to revoke his name. How on earth did that get there?

His second instinct is slower to emerge. 'For the orphanage.' Volunteering to help people has been his way for a long time, and he can almost see the orphanage with new improvements.]

What are the terms of the date contract? I know every agreement will be different, but I'm sure there are minimums...and maximums in terms of things that are allowed.

I usually read things carefully before signing, but one of the critical steps was missing in this case.

Dates are a minimum of thirty minutes, with a maximum to be agreed on by the people on the date. Going to the carnival or the dance together would be easy enough and could be fun!
