Got a question for you all out there... at least, the ones I've never asked this of before.
What's magic like on your worlds? Did it exist? Could anyone use it, or was it in the hands of just a few? Did it terrify people, like it does here? Was there a substitute for it?
No deep reason, just curious. My own world has a lot of similarities to this one, that way. Makes me wonder what other ones are like.

Both were equally important. Some progressed through training and talent, others through study and research.

Not necessarily, but it could be possible. Magic use can be as easy as breathing or as delicate as a thin sheet of glass. It varies in forms from wielder to wielder and each person should find their specific customized way of pursuing it's progress.

There's still a base knowledge as well as the general use and understanding of it. That can easily be studied and worked from there.
When I mean it's unique to every individual is that it develops it's own style according to the user.

Well yes, technically anyone and everyone can start. Some however don't have the ability to continue the training and such. And then some excel past the basics and move on to bigger things much faster.

.... You might want to scroll up, it was one of the first things I said. Those who were much weaker or couldn't learn it feared it, or adored it, wishing they could have it.

So, what exactly is it that you were going for anyways? Just random curiosity or is there more to this little inquiry of yours hm?

Feeling a bit homesick then? Or are you just intrigued by the variety we seem to have of other worlds that have ended up here?

Ah I see, makes sense to have that kind of curiosity. I myself was kind of confused upon arriving here because of the things I heard. It's an odd world, I'll say that much. But then again considering all of us... offworlders? Is that the correct term? Considering the worlds we all seem to come from, there's a lot out there that is so different from each one of us.

Ah, understandable curiosities yes. Well, I do not have the answer for those, but I wish you best of luck in your inquiries then~
