[Lunch hour, and the cafeteria's full! Well, mostly-- there's a spot at the table Asuka's at that's still empty.]
Is this seat taken?
[Look how hopeful she looks, dude. Tiny girl with a heavy tray in a big cafeteria.]

Hi. :)
Which classes do you wish you'd taken when you'd first started off here? Any things you wish you'd known from the start? Help a newbie out!

Thanks for your answers. Are they very hands-on classes? Is there a lot of reading?

I was already an adept weapons master in my world, so I focused on paramagic courses upon my arrival.

Which subjects would you recommend for the first quarter?

CBT 101 for basic training would help you see and get acquainted with teammates you might be fighting alongside as well as CFT 101 for field training.
Geo 101 will help you will knowing more about the world, I'd recommend that one if anything because this world is rather amazing!
IWB 101 or the world bestiary class is really interesting if you wana know more about the creatures that dwell this world.
I focused a lot on MAG 101 since I was already very adept at combat, so figured magic would help me increase my potential in battle, same for PMGF 101 for paramagic.
.... oh dear, it looks like I rambled on too much... but that should give you a basic outline of what I'd think would be a good start!

She smiles brightly and shakes her head.]
Nope. It's all yours.

[It's at these times that she's glad she has a speech translator; broaching any subject would've been a right challenge otherwise. Tama goes onto the chair behind her so he doesn't get dirty and she's careful not to spill anything as she takes that seat, but her mind's racing on how to-- broach the subject.
...let's take a sip of her drink first, sob.]

No need. It's not like I own it or anything. [She nods toward where Tama is sitting.] Is that your doll?
no subject
[Talking about Tama was definitely a good move on her part because— really, if there's something Yunoha knows lots about, it's her doll.
Even if she's kinda sitting on it at the moment.]

I'd also recommend taking CBT 101 and COD 101, since they help you with Garden life pretty early on.

That sounds scary! I'll be sure to remember that, though so I hope things won't be as tough for me. I hope your results weren't too bad in the end too. :)
Are CBT 101 and COD 101 very reading-heavy though?

Do those involve a lot of reading? Do you remember if there's a lot of written assignments?
[BBS]
There's less than the higher level sciences and literature, however.

I'm trying to find something that's more hands-on for my first quarter, though! What combination would you recommend?
