You Are Cordially Invited
[No BBS messages for this wizard, no, no. Instead, every student in Garden finds an envelope stuck to their door one morning, as if by magic. A simple tug is enough to free it, after which it immediately unfolds to become a message, written in golden ink.]
You Are Cordially Invited
to the office of Professor Slughorn
This Evening at 5:30
[Professor Slughorn's office is substantially larger on the inside than it ought to be, with more than enough room to accommodate visitors. A side table holds refreshments -- light snacks and pumpkin juice aplenty -- while the main table has twelve seats around it, one already taken up by the Professor -- though he'll cheerfully draw up a new one if need be, or some other accommodation. He's quite aware not all the students are human, after all.]
[Mix! Mingle! This is social networking, students, and you ought to make the best of it!]

[Only one green-skinned girl in the school he had heard of. Which had led to some confusion and perhaps even a bit of alarm on his part, but her appearance bore out what he'd been told; she clearly is no goblin at all.]
[Slughorn gestured to a chair with a smile.]
Do pull up a seat and join us.

Thank you professor, I appreciate the invitation.
[She then pulled out a chair and settled down while she waited for others to arrive.]

With that in mind, once Ahri arrived, she made sure to go about the entire room, tails swaying side to side in a cheerful manner as she studied the place and the people.]

[The tails are something of a giveaway, you know.]

Thus Luna had heeded the letter, having been in the office for quite some time, resting in one of the chairs she knew he'd have after the whole being a pony thing was seen.
But Twilight was an interesting sight, knowing full well that she'd be of particular interest to the human who planned this thing.]
A pleasure to see that you have taken up his offer, Twilight.

Not interesting enough to keep him poking around the walls of the office for more than a few minutes, though - that's when it occurs to him it's probably just damn magic, not some kind of engineering trick.
Giving up, he grabs the nearest chair (occupied or not) and starts dragging it over to where the snacks are. Socialising's fine for some people, but Ed has priorities.]

[The one so charmingly featured on those drawings of late.]
Come now, those are simply appetizers, dinner will be along shortly. Wouldn't dream of taking you all away from your evenings without a little recompense, though I like to think the company is enough!

Not only is this office freaking huge, but there's some... weird drink he's never seen before. Immediately making a beeline for the pumpkin juice, he takes a cup and tries some.
Huh. It's actually not that bad.]

You would be Mr. Razem, then?

So she was there, and despite everything able to put on a smile. She wasn't entirely sure who Professor Slughorn was, but hey. Never too late to meet someone, was it? For now the young troll lingered by the wall with a drink in her hand, looking for anyone who might be familiar.

How've you been? Nepeta, right?

However, maybe she had just been busy, or simply needed more space to get ready for her studies. After all, she was pretty close to becoming a SeeD so she could just be really busy. Regardless of the reason, Ronnae doesn't really know how to approach, not wanting a nudge away so she settles for looking over every once in a while just happy to know that Nepeta was still enjoying herself.]

[She was certain it was her, the young half-orc girl had enjoyed her meeting with the stoic and stalwart knight and was very happy to see her in this meeting, well if that was her that is. Wouldn't be the first time Ronnae confuses someone with another.]

He shrugs it off, and he arrives at the scheduled time. He doesn't know what all of this is really about, and as a safety measure has brought some ways to waste time. His headphones are waiting around his neck, and he carries a pen and composition notebook in one hand and a novel in the other. Perfectly ready to block out the world and bury himself in his work if this goes south.
Now, just what the hell is going on in here...]

[Turnout had been excellent, so as he offers his greeting, Slughorn casually directs his wand at the table, causing it to pop out a few more feet in length.]
And you would be... Mr. Lalonde?
