Hi.

I kind of got really sick again after the trip to Dollet, so I'm in the infirmary again... I don't know how long I'll be here for this time, but I'm hoping it won't be more than another week. Maybe by then, I'll be well enough to start doing things again!

So I guess until then, I won't be able to go to any of my classes, or uh, do much of anything else... But I do have this laptop, so I can still be on the BBS!

So, yeah. I hope I don't miss too much until then!

Oh, well, I'm not really hurt or injured, exactly. Just sick! I get pretty sick a lot, actually, so this isn't really new, heh.

Oh, are you sure though? That sounds really wonderful! I just hope it wouldn't be too much trouble...

Oh, I don't actually think soup is that good an idea... I ate a little earlier and I can't hold much down right now without throwing up. I'm sorry!

The books would be really really nice though! I don't really mind which ones they are--anything sounds good to me!

[Guess who brought Danny comics and some iced tea? Damian doesn't look too amused as he goes ahead and takes a seat near his friend's bed.]

Again? I think you're trying to set a world record or something.

[The mattress of his bed has been propped up a bit so he's in a semi-sitting position. He looks a bit like death warmed over--unusually pale and sickly, with dark circles under his eyes and looking thinner and more gaunt than usual. He's also covered in a layer of sweat (or at least what he hopes is sweat and not actually parts of himself melting again).

Despite this, he has a wide grin on his face as he sees Damian enter. Someone actually came to see him here in the infirmary?! That is more than enough to make his day--nay, his week.]

Oh, haha...no, not really. Although I guess I might set one accidentally... I can't help it--there's too much cool stuff out there for me to just stay inside all the time!

[To his credit, Damian's trying not to stare. The poor kid looks really sick - and he's not sure what happened this time, but he figures he'll be better off if he doesn't ask. He flinches, but focuses his gaze on the comic books he'd handing over instead.]

Could we at least get you a breather or something? Slag, even the asthma kids don't have it this bad.

It lets you breathe when you're having an asthma attack? I think they used to call them inhalers? [He shrugs.] I don't have asthma, so I don't know much about it.

[she's coming straight in and in one of her hands is a red apple. she sets it on the table near him.

I've never seen anyone get sick before, so it's weird. Maybe if I'm here, your sickness will suddenly be too scared of my air of justice, and retreat where it belongs. Into oblivion!

[It takes him a while to recognize who this is. He can tell it's a troll, but who it specifically is eludes him for a few moments. It doesn't help that he feels feverish and his mind suddenly chose to operate at half-speed right now.]

Uhhh...you're...you're Terezi, right?

Well...I don't know how scared sickness can get of justice, but...I think it might be worth a try. But I'm kind of a magnet for the stuff, heh...

And I guess I don't much about humans when they get sick, but are you able to eat anything at all?

Oh, no...nothing like that. I just get sick really easily--especially when I go outside... I think I was outside in Dollet too much, so. Here I am...! [He grins a little.] I couldn't help it, I really wanted to see the town.

And I can eat some things. Not a lot...and I can't eat very much at all right now. They've mostly been feeding me broth and crackers--I can't really eat much more than that without throwing up, heh.

That sounds pretty lame! I mean you're stuck in here that long without being able to do anything.

If you want, I can try getting notes or something from your classes during my free time if you're interested. I'll probably just send them via this system, though--or send them to you through my friend Maria. If you get sick real easy, I just got back from Galbadia, and don't want to give you an extra dose of germs. Making things worse would not be cool.

[He nods.] A test for determining whether you have allergies, and if so, what to. I take it from the question that you haven't - we can do one now, if you want.

I'm just wondering what it is that sets you off when you go outside: Whether you're being exposed to greater numbers of allergens than what people track inside, or it's contagions rather than allergens and your immune system's just very weak...
