Look at you, all special and powerful and even magical, some of you, and what's Garden got to show for it? Not a whole lot! This time compression business might like to try to attract all the weird people, but you're all rather insistent on being this world's standard of normal. Which, you know, isn't actually all that normal.

Why do your special, off-worldy, other universe completely different laws of physics powers still even work here, because that shouldn't happen. If it's impossible here, it should really stay impossible here, unless NO! Ignore everything I just said! We already know that time and space is all squished and useless! Let's not get on the subject of realities slipping in and out of each other. Just don't be surprised if you go home and suddenly there's GFs.

What I was trying to say is that you lot need to raise awareness, and what I want to know is about your powers, and more importantly, how and why they work where you're from. Because it can't be a "they just do."

I think we'll be risking our chances of ever returning home if the use of any power from other worlds is likely to cause panic.

I'm not saying an organized campaign to slowly introduce the world to the new powers would be impossible, it's just a big task.

Normal is a completely subjective definition which can vary wildly depending on whose account one is basing it off of. I can't even get all my friends to give consistent testimony about me.

They were a pair of knitting needles and a Grimoire of the Zoologically Dubious, and I generally use the resulting Thorns to blast very large holes in very vicious monsters.

Well, if it helps, when I say normal, I'm going by early 21st century Earth human normal, extended slightly to mean England, extended a bit more to mean London. Because I rather like that particular point in time and space, and if I had to pick normal, that would be what I'd think of first. Although actually, I class a lot of things as normal.

Normal here is defined as capable of junctioning with Guardian Forces and using para-magic, which isn't normal by those standards.

Magic shooty knitting needles aren't quite under the normal umbrella either.

It's a slippery slope to fall down, so I think we'd all be much safer in agreeing that the majority of people find themselves and those who act like them normal and leave it at that. Somehow I get the feeling that spending a large amount of time debating the intricacies of word usage would be a bit tiresome.

Yep, can't argue with that. It also tells me that instead of asking about how their weirdness works, the easiest way to get what I want is to just ask, "what's normal, and how does it work." Except in the cases where they're abnormal in their definition of normality.
