[Action] Pet combat demo (Slightly backdated, but only a day or two)

[Everyone around campus lately, fliers have gone up. What are they for? They're an advertisement for a pet combat demo since Rinoa promised Lea she'd give one before night classes started. It's a rather attractive poster and probably has a ton of puppies and kitties on it. False advertising? Probably not once you consider the pets owned by most of the people on Garden.]

[And today is the day for that demo! The fliers were around for a few days to give people notice about what's going on. So now Rinoa's getting all set up just inside the training center - with a little help from her furry assistants of course. That's right, this wouldn't be possible without help from Angelo and Julia! (They'll be getting a round of applause later naturally.)]

[For now people are more than welcome to come up and ask questions either: as she sets up, during the demo, or after the demo. Feel free to mark when the conversation takes place if you want. For some ideas on part of what will take place during this demo see this video here.]

You're certainly preparing for a war, even if one hasn't broken out yet.

A war I never signed up for, nor want to participate in.

[Rinoa is far too nice to call him a snotty brat to his face, but it amuses her how similar cat and boy seem to be.]

You don't have to participate. No one's going to force anyone to do things they don't want to do.

Upon arrival you were given two options: be thrown penniless on the streets of an unknown planet or become a mercenary, I hardly consider that a choice.

Taking classes doesn't make you a mercenary, graduating does. Don't you think?

Just staying here and taking classes isn't so bad, is it? And I'm sure if you really didn't want to join the school there are other things that can be worked out. After all there are cooks, janitors, and other jobs that aren't tied to fighting at all.

And you're splitting hairs. I fail to see my options being anything better after graduating... Or I should say after turning 15, as I'll apparently be taking these pointless classes forever.

If you talk to Cid I'm sure he'd be able to come up with something. I can't see him forcing people to fight if they're really opposed to it.

I have no problems fighting, my problem lies within the lack of choice--or being under the headmasters thumb, as you're now putting it.
