[Vriska had very special ways of dealing with "stress". During her time here she slowly learned to start changing her ways of dealing with "stress", but it was and continues to be an uphill battle that she has constantly doubted being worth the effort at all. Yet she knew this wasn't Alternia and outwardly killing someone to relieve anger with minimal consequences here was preposterous. She was outnumbered here anyways.
But she found ways to deal with things her way and they helped to an extent.
The mutilated T-Rex before her was proof of that. She stood in front of its head, breathing heavily and drenched in its blood with the broken sword handle still in her grasp. Some of her own cerulean blue blood mixed in with the red of the dinosaur's on her person, but if any of her own wounds hindered her she didn't show it.]

besides, there's a fine line between being angry and being ostentatious with one's mutilations. duh.]

[Shoots her a smirk.] There's no point in beating a dead dinosaur, or however that saying of yours goes, is there?

I'm not one to judge if people find such a meager option just as useful as the more difficult ones.

[aka she knits a billion sweaters, plays hours of violin, and shoots magic beams through the heads of monsters. totally healthy.]

To each their own like some people say.
[She casts her a glance before looking away again.] So why are you in here? Those clothes look more fitting in a library than in this place.

[she pulls a Thorn out of her specibus, letting it spark a little as she continues] As to why I'm here, I thought the answer should be obvious. I'd like to keep in practice.

[She huffs and tosses the used towel on the ground before smiling.] I can get behind that. [She raised an eyebrow.] How about a spar? Just you and me.

[and, you know, she is so going to win. the confidence is quite obvious from her tone.]

But Vriska is pretty confident herself. Like a pair of sparking knitting needles can actually defeat her. Her dagger materializes at her finger tips.]
Ready when you are, princess!

He stands there for a minute, watching her before approaching her:] Oy, you alright?

That aside, she walks over to where she tossed a towel before getting down to business and picks it up to wipe some of the blood off her face.]
Of course I am! What makes you think I'm not?

[He snorts, cracking his knuckles before he follows her. When he's in this state, it feels less like he's following her as a friend and more like... well, like a giant kitten.] But I have to say, that T-Rexaur didn't know what was coming.

Bluh!

[Tom hasn't been able to take one down on his own - not in a while, anyways - but he knows better than to say so out loud.] No kill like overkill.
no subject
It isn't overkill if it just bleeds a lot naturally. It took a lot of work to get it to finally stop moving, you know!
one of these days, i'll tag on time...
[He won't ask any more questions, partially because he doesn't want to know the answer.] You think I could get a decent nap in here? I'd try the Quad, but some Trepie thought I wanted to eat her. Again.
ONE OF THESE DAYS I WILL TOO
CLEARLY WE WIN AT LIFE
[HE'S NEVER GIVING UP ON THIS IDEA.]

[She wrings the towel in her hands. While she enjoys attention, she can't help but find herself extremely angry when she thinks about how these humans look at her. Even after all this time she still can't get used to it. It made her want to ring necks. Stupid, pink necks...]
