[action] / [BBS] postdated after the Skulker encounter

[This isn't right. Danny stands in his room, door still ajar in his confusion, staring at the picture that has mysteriously found its way to his bed.

This isn't right.

It's Danny in the photo alright, but he is surrounded by people he has never seen--aside from Jazz. But there is also a dark-haired girl, a dark-skinned boy, and two adults standing by him. In the background, a building Danny's never seen. He doesn't know this place, he doesn't know these people.

His hands have started to shake.]

[Danny's face pops up on the feed, looking weary, tired, and a little fearful.]

H...has anyone else gotten something like this? [He holds up the photo.] Like...something you don't remember? This just showed up in my room earlier today, and I don't... [he has to pause to swallow, nervous. Maybe doing a video feed wasn't such a good idea.] I don't know what it is, or where it came from, just that that's--I never was there.

((OOC: Because I want to do everything at once. Regarding the Skulker encounter, it is still being logged out, but other characters involved can assume that once it is over they have received minor injury at worst.))

I just. I don't know what to make of this thing!

Is there really anything you could do about it even if you figure out what to make of it?

No, I guess not... And I hate saying it, but, I don't think that's going to keep me from worrying about it. I mean, it still exists and everything.

I know what you mean... It took me a while to try and stop worrying about a note I got from home not long after I arrived here.

Really? What did you do?

Well, the note was from an enemy of mine back home, and it made me worry that she was going to go after someone I was trying to protect while I was here, and I wouldn't be able to stop her... Instructor Villiers told me that time's not passing for us the way it is back home and that we'll probably go back in time for anything we had to do there, so I should work hard here so I'll be strong when I go back home.

That's what I'm trying to do :)

[Mikuru has an enemy? Danny doesn't know how to feel about this quite honestly. It makes him sort of uncomfortable--the idea just doesn't sit with him too well.]

Oh. Well, that's a good way to handle that kind of situation, I think!

I know it isn't really the same as this thing with the pictures... I just figure it's better to try and focus on something you can do than on something you can't change.
