[So, being a new kid at school means one must do some wandering to familiarize oneself with the grounds and maybe make a few friends or run into some bullies, etc. Riku has been doing just that, though he hasn't really made any new friends yet and thankfully, hasn't ran into any bullies. He is, however, wandering into the training center and-

Oh hello, Mr. T-Rex. How are you today? He blinks a few times; it is his first time seeing a dinosaur after all.]

I'm glad you're not a Heartless. Hate to see what you'd be like... though I guess Sora would like you.

[Mr. T-Rex doesn't seem to care and demonstrates this by opening its massive jaw to roar in Riku's face. He doesn't seem too fazed, aside from wincing from the horrid breath of the dinosaur and extends a hand to one side, Way to Dawn appearing in a burst of light. Blocking a rather large claw, he's just going to trade some blows with the lizard; it's been a while since he's got some good training in.]

[Hearing that roar, Roxas goes running toward it - if only to see what such a loud creature must look like. When he spots the big lizard he skids to a stop, confirming that he definitely hasn't seen anything like that before.

However comparing it to his experiences is effectively derailed when he sees who the thing's trying to eat]

[He slides underneath its huge tail just in time to avoid getting thrown off, aiming for the lizard's legs when he hears a familiar voice. He jerks his head around in surprise]

Roxas? Wh- [Okay, that might have been a bad idea since he... didn't notice the darn tail coming for him from the back this time.]

[Thankfully Roxas always was a speed demon, dashing forward to tackle Riku out of the path of that tail, although it means they get to crash into some nice rocks and dirt.

And just like that he springs back to his feet, calling a keyblade (http://images2.wikia.nocookie.net/__cb20090227034835/kingdomhearts/images/b/be/Two_across.png) himself to smack that monster in the snout when it leans in too close]

[Holy shitkasdjlfaf. He winces a little when they crash, but he's thankful Roxas' speed hasn't changed much since their days in Solace.]

Don't worry about it. [He aims Dark Aura at the lizard's eyes and it stumbles back a bit, tail flailing around dangerously.] We can take him.

[Roxas hurls his keyblade at that big lizard's head, trying to knock it further off balance. And it seems to do the trick, causing the T-rex to slam into a tree as the keyblade snaps back to Roxas' waiting grip]

[Ffff why so hax, Roxas? He watches as the dino falls back, still keeping Way to Dawn out just in case it decides to partake in some revenge.]

It's...really big.

[The big creature thuds around against the ground, tiny arms making it a difficult task to stand back up. Eventually it uses a wall to push against, clumsily getting to its feet and charging at them again]

[Slash slash kick slash slash- oh, it's a girl. Hello there.]

... Thanks. [He's not really sure what else to say, but he smiles a little while clouting the lizard's tail away.]

[She isn't often in the Training Center, in fact this is probably the first time she's actually bothered poking her head in, and what a sight there is to see!] Aah, that's a big one... [Muttered more to herself as she stares at the giant dinosaur, then an idea! Maybe not a good one, but an idea nonetheless...]

Tame it! Tame it! [Why yes, Rin is cheering the boy on to tame the beast. From behind the bushes. Using some torn off branches as pompoms. Well. There goes first impressions.]

[He gets a little distracted by the cheering, glancing at the girl (wow those are... branches for pompoms) and nearly getting decapitated from a sharp claw. He aims a Dark Firaga at its nose, following it up with a strike under the chin to knock it back.

He'll keep himself in front of those bushes, he wouldn't want her to get hurt in the process too.]

[Oh, oops! She wasn't trying to distract him... But instead of being the damsel, she throws one of her pompoms at the T-Rexaur.] Don't pick on smaller people!

[Which just earns her a roar in return and Rin ducks down.] Fight, fight! [Still cheering. She could totally take it on herself, but this is his fight. Yep, that's what she's going with.]

[He smirks a little when the lizard gets hit with the branch, chuckling quietly to himself. Seeing as its still flailing around, he hits it with a few more well placed bursts of Dark Aura and clouts here and there before it finally falls to the ground.]

[When the dino is down, Rin reemerges from the bushes to grin victoriously at the fallen beast. As if she's done it all herself, she even kicks its tail before returning to Riku's side. Or, a little behind him just in case the thing wants to get up again.]

Hey, that's what I thought! We did a good job. [She looks up at Riku, holding her hand out in a proper greeting.] I'm Rin!

[He quirks an eyebrow at that, though he looks a little bemused as he takes her hand for a brief handshake.]

Riku. [He laughs] We did, thanks for the help.

[Yuna doesn't find herself wandering around the training center often. She'd really rather be in the library studying about the world and its culture. As a summoner, she'd had no choice but to travel Spira and fight fiends left, right and centre-- but she didn't go looking for fights.

That being said, today she'd thought to train a little with her magic. It had been a while since she'd summoned any of her aeons-- or were they technically GFs now? And she missed it. So here she is, wandering idly around and killing a few plant-like fiends with some low-level fire magic, when she runs into Riku. And his new friend, Mr. T-Rex.

Gasping, she calls out to him.] Ah! Hello? Do you-- do you need help?

[Oh hey, Yuna. You look vaguely familiar, but he's distracted with fending off sharp teeth and talons to really think. He glances over his shoulder at her, putting up a well-timed Dark Shield to save his head from being chewed off.]

I'm fine, he isn't so bad. [He pauses for a moment, looking at her thoughtfully] You're welcome to take a stab at him if you want.

...oh. [Yuna stares at the T-Rexaur, looking a little lost. On the one hand, testing her abilities is good! On the other... T-Rexaur! She'd faced big monsters before, of course. But her guardians had always been with her.] ...all right!

[She prepares to use some of her own magic, casting a Firaga on the T-Rexaur. It does a moderate amount of damage, but she's a little disheartened when it doesn't slow the fiend down. Instead, she narrowly avoids getting her arm ripped off by the thing's claws. She doesn't have any weapon other than her rod with her, so it's not like she can slash at it. Oops. Maybe this wasn't a great idea.]

[There's a familiar face. Axel's been camping recon-ing the training center for a while. So when he sees Riku talking to a dinosaur... he chooses 'laugh'.]

That hard up for company, Ri-ku?

[He looks up when he hears him, putting up a Dark Shield before glancing around the room and spotting Axel. Not that it was that difficult anyway, what with his hair and all. It doesn't exactly surprise him that he's here; he's seen him back in Solace, after all. Though this might not really be the same one...]
