[So, being a new kid at school means one must do some wandering to familiarize oneself with the grounds and maybe make a few friends or run into some bullies, etc. Riku has been doing just that, though he hasn't really made any new friends yet and thankfully, hasn't ran into any bullies. He is, however, wandering into the training center and-

Oh hello, Mr. T-Rex. How are you today? He blinks a few times; it is his first time seeing a dinosaur after all.]

I'm glad you're not a Heartless. Hate to see what you'd be like... though I guess Sora would like you.

[Mr. T-Rex doesn't seem to care and demonstrates this by opening its massive jaw to roar in Riku's face. He doesn't seem too fazed, aside from wincing from the horrid breath of the dinosaur and extends a hand to one side, Way to Dawn appearing in a burst of light. Blocking a rather large claw, he's just going to trade some blows with the lizard; it's been a while since he's got some good training in.]

[Returns that smile. He probably feels just as fortunate as Roxas, if not more; didn't think he'd find someone so accepting besides Sora and Kairi.]

[Which...isn't exactly the case but it's true Riku's always treated him pretty well and he couldn't repay that with anything less. When they emerge from the training center, Roxas halts and looks up at Riku]

So um...could I give you something?

[He just chuckles at that, following Roxas out of the facility. At his question, he nods, albeit a little belatedly. He's... pretty sure today isn't his birthday-]

... Sure. What's the occasion?

Well...

[Roxas mulls it over, wondering if an occasion's an important thing to have as he toys with one of his rings. After several moments of thoughtful silence he tugs his white ring off and offers it to Riku]

How about the fact that we're both here, and that we both remember?

[He looks at the ring for a moment before taking it, holding it carefully. A smile tugs at his lips and though he's feeling a little like a girl... he knows this means a lot.]

Should I wear it on my ring finger, then?

[He's a bit embarrassed now that he sees that smile, although he's happy to see that smile]

[He just chuckles, slipping it onto his finger. It fits rather comfortably, not too loose or tight, which pleasantly surprises him.]
