[Whoa, hello slightly itchy eyes and almost urge to sneeze. Sharpay squints at him - OH, YOU'RE THAT GUY WITH THE CATS.]

I could slow it down, or make myself faster-- [She puts her foot down, trying to block the spider's path, but it just climbs her shoe and runs over to the other side. Sharpay looks mildly repulsed.]

[Well-spotted! Too bad Greece doesn't know that she's allergic, or he'd be making himself scarce. Instead he circles around a bit, also trying to block the spider's path.]

I haven't taken that class either, but... the spider... is it poisonous?

I don't-- [achoo!] Excuse me. I don't know; I've never seen one before. [The possibility doesn't concern her too much, though; she assumes the Antidotes for the Poison status effect would cure it.] I just didn't want anyone to step on it.

[Sharpay crouches, placing the paper flat on the floor in the hopes that the spider will get diverted onto it.]

[If the spider tries another route, Greece will shrug his jacket off and use it as a makeshift net. For now he's trying to carefully brush the spider onto the page; he'd rather not put up with Poison at all.]

What are you going to do with it?

[Tom just stares at the spider. He's normally one for squishing them - hey, if he squishes monsters, he can do it to a little spider - but he stops just in time to see Shar.]

No worries. What's up with this little guy?

[SPIDER IN HER LAP!

COMMENCE FLAILING AND SWATTING IT WITH A WEDDING MAGAZINE!]

[Sharpay rubs at her eyes as she slowly slides the page along to the spider. She's completely deadpan:] You've got cat hair on your clothes. [This is totally a legitimate answer to whether she's well...

[And, success! She carefully lifts the corners of the page together in the hopes the spider won't make another run for it.] I'm going to take it outside. [She nods to the nearest opening window.] Probably more food for it out there.

I saw him running around, no web or anything in sight, and... [Sheepish.] I didn't want him to get stepped on.

[As the spider starts climbing the nearest wall, Sharpay absorbs herself in trying to move her paper into its path for it to climb onto. It's partially because spiders are hard to catch, and partially because this is a little embarrassing to admit:] I feel kind of bad for them. They don't give me the time of day any more, but they used to help me; it's time I helped them.

[Spider goes squish! Hope you enjoy that spider stain on your magazine, Grell.

[Sharpay, looking around to see if it escaped, takes a moment to realize her spider friend was successfully swatted. She just...stares at Grell, before turning on her heel and walking back where she came from. RIP, blue spider. RIP.]

[Kaldur will just be...staring in confusion at the little creature.]

Is that your pet?

[Even as she hurries after the spider, Sharpay takes a moment to throw a scornful glance at Kaldur.] Of course not! [Does she look like the kind of person who would have a pet spider?! Spider helpers, maybe, for that ridiculous month, but as a pet? She gets defensive:] I just didn't want it to get squashed.

[He shouldn't be as surprised by the comment as he is. Almost immediately, Tom bites his tongue before carefully watching her.]

You mean from back when you could speak to them? Ah, that... makes sense. It's kind of like how I tried re-learning how to junction Cure spells after I lost my healing abilities.

[She can't keep a soft smile off her face when Tom doesn't make as big a deal out of her feelings for creepy-crawlies as she'd half-thought he would. Quickly, she puts the page perpendicular to the wall to make the spider go back to the floor before it goes too high for her to reach, and it's only as the spider actually does turn around and head for the floor that she glances back at Tom.]

How did that work out?

[Poor wedding magazine! Grell frowns and sees Sharpay walking away. She stands and waves her blue spider guts covered book in the air.]

I apologize for the assumption. [Sorry, he doesn't understand why she wouldn't have one as a pet. His friend has a pet robot ball.]

[He'd make a bigger deal if it weren't so darn cute. Still, there's the hint of a completely amused smile as he folds his arms.]

You know me. [Tom chuckles, trying to keep a straight face... it totally fails.] It wasn't as bad as I thought, but I wouldn't like to do it again anytime soon.

[She shakes her head, trying to slide her page under the spider.] I didn't see the web or anything; it could be from anywhere.

[Sharpay pivots back to face Grell.] No, I think squishing the spider was yours!

[She laughs with him, amused as always by his ineptitude with junctioning.]

No, not while you're teaching two classes instead of one! [Sharpay crouches, trying to stay ahead of the spider.] How behind are you on your stats marking?

[He makes a face, though he's half-distracted by the spider.]

About a week. It's better than everyone expected... though I think I'm gonna grab an assistant eventually.

[She shakes her head.] No, no, no, if I can stay on top of marking without an assistant [and for two classes!! boxing hardly has any!], so can you. [Aaaand spider scoop! Sharpay stands, triumphant, trying to gather the corners of her paper together so it won't escape again.] We'll mark together.

With good reason! What are you doing with those things?!

I was trying to take it outside so it wouldn't get squashed, but... [Sharpay throws her hands in the air.]
