[It's... odd. You really don't realise just how much you'll miss something until it's gone, and Raven has spent the last month feeling... well, empty. Her monster form, much as she disliked it, left quite a hole when suddenly she couldn't use it anymore. After all, it was part of her.

Now that it was back, she was going to do something she very rarely did: enjoy being half monster.

And so, through the day, a large multicoloured phoenix could be seen flying close to the Garden. Occasionally it would stop to rest, and occasionally it would disappear as Raven returned to her human form as far out of sight as she could, but it remained close to Garden.

She couldn't have done this at home.]

[O.M.G. Phoenix meet... phoenix. Marco's been likewise flying around because nothing is worse than losing the ability of flight. He's looking startled at the sight of another one though.]

[Tilts his head. That's... unexpected. He swoops up higher before shifting into a hybrid form with gigantic wings, it's nearly impossible to fly like that, but perfect for hovering as they act like a parachute or hang glider.]

If you don't mind... what are you then? Phoenixes... should be able to speak phoenix, right?

Magic and monsters seem to have specific rules here. People from other worlds don't tend to follow them... right?

You think so? Aside from the last month I don't know about that. I could do minor spells from this world and everything. Although most people just think I'm a guardian force when they see my phoenix side first.

[Tom'd been sleeping on one of Garden's roofs. In a similar fashion, he'd decided to enjoy being a werepanther - he'd missed transforming, especially when it was taken from him like that - and had just been about to go to sleep.

Except wait. Was that... was that a phoenix?

Cue the startled look as Tom immediately sits up. Of all the things he'd seen at Garden, that was pretty close to the top of his weird-meter.]

[... Huuuuh. Curiouser and curiouser. Tom hesitates to approach her, especially since it's obvious she doesn't want him to know, so in the end, he also de-transforms before heading over to where she is.
