[Most people had decent superpowers, like flight or super-strength or super-speed. Growing up without them hadn't really made Cissie envy her peers, especially since she was pretty used to her own supervision and enhanced reflexes.
So when Garden suddenly went bonkers - again - and even Cissie got a power, she thought she should be elated. After all, she had superpowers! Even if they were only temporary! Except no. Cissie's superpower? Was totally and completely involuntary. Teleportation - "bouncing," as she heard it was termed - was much much worse than she thought it'd ever be.
Case in point: she wanted to go to the bathroom. Any bathroom.
... Which is why she's somehow in YOUR bathroom right now. She'd apologize for just falling into your tub in a huge cloud of smoke, but at this point? She's more frustrated that she's still in her ratty pajamas. Clearly, the superpower gods didn't favor her.]
[ooc | Cissie's superpower was involuntary teleportation. It... clearly backfired on her in more ways than one.]

[ His reaction isn't even surprise anymore, not with seeing people run all sorts of abilities and people sneaking into his room back home. But it's not like he allows her to go freely, blocking the doorway as Erik glares at her. ]
no subject
I'm so sorry...! I swear, I didn't mean to end up here.

Learning to teleport?

[ he paused for a moment, remembering that this wasn't normal in the first place, but merely side effects. ] Although given that it's temporary... I can see your pain. Why bother learning something that will go away, right?
/the slowest tagger
Everything's worth learning, even if it goes away. That's how you understand people better.
it's all good!
[ He pushes off from the wall and reaches for the towel hanging behind the door. A man's actions might determine his worth as he told the girl, but she still had to earn them. Erik tossed the towel out for her, letting her grab it before turning away. It wasn't necessarily in the first place when his tub was still dry, but it was an act he could deliver at least. ]

I don't know what I'd gain, sir, but I... [She bites her lip.] I'm sorry for both offending you and coming here.
[Jumping out of the tub now!] ... Thanks.

I expect by the time you pick up the finer nuances of the ability, you'll be back to normal anyway. [ He gave her a slight smile, ushering out the bathroom door. ]
Though, a word of advice, if I may?

[Part of her's tempted to tell him she doesn't really disrespect her elders, but she suspects he probably doesn't want to hear that--especially since they don't have that much of an age gap.]

[leaning on the doorframe, and...nah. she can't get upset when the other girl is sitting in her bathtub.]
no subject
I'm really sorry. I just... let's just say I don't like my superpower very much.

Sometimes I find myself wondering if perhaps I should look into physical medicine as well despite my intentions to be a doctor of the mind. It seems to be knowledge I need more and more often.
no subject
Probably a general practitioner. I haven't really thought much about specializing, but... then again, Garden doesn't really offer much in terms of a traditional medicine program, so it makes sense.
[She nods in agreement] It wouldn't hurt to look into both. You never know when it'll come in handy!
no subject
And I do believe that I might, if only for something else to do.

One does try to warn you Cissie, my dear. One does try.
[ Actually, she kinda looks amused. ]
no subject
[She does attempt to avert her gaze, partially because welp, this is weird and partially because she's got standards. Really.]
no subject
Oh come now, dear. It's a common mistake for those unaccustomed to having such abilities... Don't be too hard on yourself.
[ Drying hair now. ]
Are you alright though? Haven't been anywhere dangerous?
no subject
For the most part, yeah. Nowhere dangerous... though I did end up in the boys' locker room earlier today. [She smiles so very, very sheepishly.] If you see something weird in the gossip column, that would be why.
no subject
And I certainly suppose this was all against your will? Though I can't help but wonder if that Tattler will catch on to this...
no subject
[Also, Cissie is used to being the subject of gossip columns, so it doesn't really bother her.]
