[Most people had decent superpowers, like flight or super-strength or super-speed. Growing up without them hadn't really made Cissie envy her peers, especially since she was pretty used to her own supervision and enhanced reflexes.

So when Garden suddenly went bonkers - again - and even Cissie got a power, she thought she should be elated. After all, she had superpowers! Even if they were only temporary! Except no. Cissie's superpower? Was totally and completely involuntary. Teleportation - "bouncing," as she heard it was termed - was much much worse than she thought it'd ever be.

Case in point: she wanted to go to the bathroom. Any bathroom.

... Which is why she's somehow in YOUR bathroom right now. She'd apologize for just falling into your tub in a huge cloud of smoke, but at this point? She's more frustrated that she's still in her ratty pajamas. Clearly, the superpower gods didn't favor her.]

[ooc | Cissie's superpower was involuntary teleportation. It... clearly backfired on her in more ways than one.]

[ Erik scoffs, arms folded across his chest. He didn't need the feel good lecture, not when someone was sitting in his tub. His history chasing after the Nazis, chasing after Shaw had granted him an invaluable insight about the type of people he witnessed, believing their actions determined their value. He didn't need to understand them through learning. ] What could you possibly gain from learning who they are? A man's actions determines his worth.

[ He pushes off from the wall and reaches for the towel hanging behind the door. A man's actions might determine his worth as he told the girl, but she still had to earn them. Erik tossed the towel out for her, letting her grab it before turning away. It wasn't necessarily in the first place when his tub was still dry, but it was an act he could deliver at least. ]

[He had a point there. No matter what she did to learn about teleportation, she didn't really understand much more about people who had the gift in the first place. Stepping back - more out of surprise than fear - she nearly slips on the porcelain but somehow manages to catch herself just in time to receive the towel.]

I don't know what I'd gain, sir, but I... [She bites her lip.] I'm sorry for both offending you and coming here.

[Jumping out of the tub now!] ... Thanks.

[ He shook his head, reaching forward to catch her if she needed. ] It takes a lot more than just a simple mistake to offend me.

I expect by the time you pick up the finer nuances of the ability, you'll be back to normal anyway. [ He gave her a slight smile, ushering out the bathroom door. ]

[She nods, glancing back up at him as she heads out.] Sure. It's not like I'd ever say no, anyways.

[Part of her's tempted to tell him she doesn't really disrespect her elders, but she suspects he probably doesn't want to hear that--especially since they don't have that much of an age gap.]
