[Most people had decent superpowers, like flight or super-strength or super-speed. Growing up without them hadn't really made Cissie envy her peers, especially since she was pretty used to her own supervision and enhanced reflexes.

So when Garden suddenly went bonkers - again - and even Cissie got a power, she thought she should be elated. After all, she had superpowers! Even if they were only temporary! Except no. Cissie's superpower? Was totally and completely involuntary. Teleportation - "bouncing," as she heard it was termed - was much much worse than she thought it'd ever be.

Case in point: she wanted to go to the bathroom. Any bathroom.

... Which is why she's somehow in YOUR bathroom right now. She'd apologize for just falling into your tub in a huge cloud of smoke, but at this point? She's more frustrated that she's still in her ratty pajamas. Clearly, the superpower gods didn't favor her.]

[ooc | Cissie's superpower was involuntary teleportation. It... clearly backfired on her in more ways than one.]

Is that the only certain symptom of madness in you? I only ask to ensure that any physical drubbings I inflict are completely warranted.

Significant psychosis is rarely caused by one factor alone. If the problem worsens it's likely the other issues will come to light in due time.

[she smirks a little] If I can acquire the necessary degrees in a timely fashion and the medical board deems me knowledgeable enough to be certified. It's a fascinating profession.

Any particular subset, or just general practitioner? [she steps back a little to let her move out of the bathroom if she'd like]

Sometimes I find myself wondering if perhaps I should look into physical medicine as well despite my intentions to be a doctor of the mind. It seems to be knowledge I need more and more often.

I don't imagine that they have much interest in neurosurgeons given the intended career paths of most prospective graduates. [eyeroll]

And I do believe that I might, if only for something else to do.
