This system is a little old. Guess it's all you got without towers for a PHS system.
Name's Strife. Is there anyone else from Gaia here? I was told that it might be possible...but I am not holding my breath. They also explained this SeeD place as being a kind of school for fighters. Is it true they are not associated with any country or political power? Sounds too good to be true...
As for this... Whatever this is. What exactly are they expecting in return? Information?
S.
[ooc; Strike outs are personal thoughts. Cloud is just a tiny suspicious of the good people of the Garden. And you want to switch to action, Cloud is currently holed up with Fenrir in the garage. ]

There's me and another girl as far as I know. What they said about SeeD is true, too.
What they expect I can't say. I haven't found out either.

I am finding it hard to believe. These SeeD... A group outside of politics is just too good to be true.

It all checks off from the little I've been able to look into, but who knows. [She's learned not to trust anything that's given to her right off the bat.]

She's not connecting that name with Cloud, derp
You're right, they're not with any country. The SeeDs are hired as mercenaries.
What Garden expects is for students to follow the rules. Once they graduate, they can become a SeeD or instructor if they want to stay. In my case, I decided to be an instructor. If you're too old to be a student, there are other ways to help out.
- Aerith
pffft yeah, he figures Cloud is not the name he wants to use in a strange place ATM
I guess I am still young enough to be a Cadet.
Even if I have Sorcerer powers. So that's it? No hidden motives to help out people from other worlds?S.
[ ... but instead of getting sent right away there is a pause because he SEES the name attached to the message and freezes... ]
...Aerith?
...and then I had to leave for the night |D;
I suppose the most 'hidden' motive is that a lot of people outside Garden don't trust those with 'sorceress' powers. If we all had to fend for all ourselves, a lot of us could end up showing our abilities. It'd cause a panic. Maybe other problems too. Most people wouldn't want that for their world.
That's my name. A-e-r-i-t-h. I don't like calling myself 'instructor' on the BBS, it feels so stuffy. There are cadets older than me!
eeeek!

I don't think they expect anything in return. 'The goodwill of the people', I suppose.

Huh.

So far, nothing seems too peculiar, though.

i think they're expecting us to fight for them, but other than that i just think they're willing to let us stay here until they figure out the time compression thingy. which is good for us, since we have somewhere to go. it'd be bad if we got time compressed and then we were stranded on our own, right??

Fighting huh? I guess it is better than most. The townspeople were not very welcoming when I drove through.

So that's it. What makes a SeeD any different from any other armed force besides the schooling?

It makes sense to have a neutral stance when dealing with war. Any military power that works for one governing body tends to be highly bias against anyone opposing that government from what I've seen.
