Have you ever met someone who knows a different you? If so... what do you do if they don't... get along with the other you, in a way of speaking?

Yes. In my world marines hunt my family down -- including my best friend. But in the other version of my friend's world, he was a marine.

At first I thought maybe he was possessed, but apparently Time Compression does that. I talked to him about it, of course, but he knew my family and believed it was his job to hunt us down. Basically that we're criminals and amoral and all that. Hard to get past that really.

I have never come across such a situation myself, but it has occurred here before.

Many people are taken from different points of time, and even from worlds similar, but not quite their own. Mistaken identities are a frequent result because of this.

You tell the truth, and it is, sadly, up to the other person to believe you or not. If they do not, it is not your fault and you should not blame yourself as such.
