SCENE ONE: BBS
If anyone reading this signed up for Oli's dance troupe while he was still here or would like to join, I'm interested in putting a couple of numbers together for Homecoming. That's only a week away, so you'll need to be able to commit to daily rehearsals, but I'm aiming for fairly simple choreography. There'd definitely be fewer rehearsals after Homecoming if anyone's interested in continuing after that. ♥ - Instructor Sharpay Evans Vote Sharpay Evans and Tom Bronson for Homecoming Queen and King!

SCENE TWO: QUAD
[~~Yeah okay so Sharpay pretty much lives out here for her open posts.~~ Today she's not making the slightest pretense of marking: She's strutting around the quad in paths which probably look a little random and sometimes make nice corners for no apparent reason; occasionally she stops in one place and then goes to somewhere opposite her starting point and goes to the place where she stopped. Usually when she stops she marks something on a piece of paper, though occasionally she just frowns and tries her last strut again. Whenever she's walking, she's humming very quietly; not too many notes are audible.

[She's not always looking where she's going, either, so she may bump into people from time to time, with a quick--] Sorry!

[And onwards!]

SCENE THREE: DOMINIC'S OFFICE
[Knock-knock-knock, Dom. You have a visitor! An eager one, if that quick tapping knock is any indication.]

HI SHARPIE! [Waves at her with Gummy on her head. Chillin.] What are you doing? [Headtilt]

[Sharpay forces a smile. She generally likes Pinkie, but she cannot for the life of her stop her fellow instructor from calling her a permanent marker.] Hey, Pinkie! I'm working on a little something for the carnival.

[If only Pinkie knew they are a brand of markers.]

OOOOOOHHHHH! Neat! Can I help?! [Grins widely. YOU CAN'T SAY NO TO THIS GRIN!]

[One day time compression will bring one through just to mess with her.

[Sharpay actually considers it. On one hand, the number she is working on at this moment is a duet, and a duet means two people, not three, and it's been so long since she's seen Pinkie that she can't remember if she can actually sing. On the other hand, that grin is very hard to say no to.

[A compromise, then.]

I think I've got everything under control for this, but could you help me out with something for the dance?

Of COURSE I'll help you! What are friends for?! SSSOOOOOOO, whacha need?

[Phew, it worked!]

Dancers! I'm trying to put together a couple of numbers for the dance.

YOU need dancers? PINKIE'S YOUR GIRL! I can shake my groove thang better than ANYONE!

Where can I dance?! Over HERE?! [Zips on over to a random spot.] Or HERE?! [Zips to a different one.] OR THERE?! [Now standing a bit behind Sharpay.]

[Sharpay laaaaaaaaaughs. Ah, Pinkie, never stop being completely overwhelming.] Not in here! It'll be in the ballroom. But I'll be holding practices in the drama room until performance night!

[Hands on her hip. C'MOOOONNNNN, SHARPIE! So much talent standing idle is too much for Pinkie!]

Then where am I supposed to dance NOW?! [Like RIGHT NOW, right now.]

Right here's fine! [This, at least, promises to be amusing though not helpful.]

OKAY! [Strikes a pose similar to a flamingo getting ready to kick butt!] Just say WHEN!

Now!

[Partially to keep from laughing at that ridiculous pose WHAT IS THAT PINKIE A FLAMINGO and partially to give her friend a beat, Sharpay starts singing:] I believe in dreaming, shooting for the stars.

[And there she goes, dancing quite well! A silent melody plays in her head, but of course Pinkie can't ever stay silent.]

[Sharpay is used to her brother jumping in with the right lyrics, but this is something else entirely.

[Luckily, in the last couple of years she's gotten a lot better at reacting to the unexpected, and instead she makes up some harmony to Pinkie's song. She's heard worse lyrics.]

[Rolls her arms in circles, swaying her hips from side to side. Now she's doing the Hussle.]
