SCENE ONE: BBS
If anyone reading this signed up for Oli's dance troupe while he was still here or would like to join, I'm interested in putting a couple of numbers together for Homecoming. That's only a week away, so you'll need to be able to commit to daily rehearsals, but I'm aiming for fairly simple choreography. There'd definitely be fewer rehearsals after Homecoming if anyone's interested in continuing after that. ♥

SCENE TWO: QUAD
[Yeah okay so Sharpay pretty much lives out here for her open posts. Today she's not making the slightest pretense of marking: She's strutting around the quad in paths which probably look a little random and sometimes make nice corners for no apparent reason; occasionally she stops in one place and then goes to somewhere opposite her starting point and goes to the place where she stopped. Usually when she stops she marks something on a piece of paper, though occasionally she just frowns and tries her last strut again. Whenever she's walking, she's humming very quietly; not too many notes are audible.

[She's not always looking where she's going, either, so she may bump into people from time to time, with a quick--] Sorry!

[And onwards!]

SCENE THREE: DOMINIC'S OFFICE
[Knock-knock-knock, Dom. You have a visitor! An eager one, if that quick tapping knock is any indication.]

[At first, Tom chalked the struts up simply to Shar being Shar... but when he was bumped into? He kind of figured there was more than that going on.]

[Sharpay shows him the piece of paper: It looks like a map of the quad, but has rectangles and squares and the odd other shape on it as well, as well as arrows penciled on in much the same paths she's been walking.]

Choreography!

For the carnival? [He's hoping it's not for the actual Homecoming dance, if it wasn't obvious from the way he's scratching his cheek.] Sounds like you're going to be busy this weekend.

[He looks up from his desk and his writing.]

[Sharpay enters, closing the door behind her, and takes a seat.]

Hey, Dominic! Are you busy Saturday night?

[Forgive her for jumping straight to business, Dom; places to go, things to do! And Sharpay can see that he's working.]

[Rolo makes a small sound when he's bumped into, tightening his grip on his books as he takes a step back for balance. He raises his head and opens his mouth to speak, but falls silent when he notices that the woman's already on the move.]

Ah . . .

[She seems . . . busy.]

[Soon enough she's back to a point not too far away from where she bumped into him, but before starting again, she checks on this kid.]

Are you okay? [He certainly looks okay, but she figures it's polite to ask.]

[He's rather surprised that she asked, and he answers with a slow nod. Given the irregularities of her movement and upcoming events, he figures it must be one of the latter.]

Is this some sort of rehearsal for the carnival?

Scene Two!

[laughafterme]

HI SHARPIE! [Waves at her with Gummy on her head. Chillin.] What are you doing? [Headtilt]

[Sharpay forces a smile. She generally likes Pinkie, but she cannot for the life of her stop her fellow instructor from calling her a permanent marker.] Hey, Pinkie! I'm working on a little something for the carnival.

[laughafterme]

[If only Pinkie knew they are a brand of markers.]

OOOOOOHHHHH! Neat! Can I help?! [Grins widely. YOU CAN'T SAY NO TO THIS GRIN!]

Scene Two

[eggplantallergy]

O-OH! Sorry! [Gakupo apologized as well, because he shouldn't have stood there gawking at her actions. He then salutes her, like a good cadet.] Ah, instructor! What...are you doing?

[hotpinkwhirlwind]

[Good boy, Gakupo, Sharpay always appreciates a salute. SOMEONE RESPECTS HER AUTHORITAH~] At ease! I'm working on our carnival number. [Here is her diagram, kiddo, arrows marked "G" and "S" going around a map of the quad with the booths sketched out on top.]

[Gakupo takes the diagram, following it with ease. Even he starts moving about according to what's marked out.] Ah, I see. Maybe I came just in time to help!

[Cid's come out to the quad to read, but he stops and just watches Sharpay strutting around. After a moment, he comes over to ask her what she's doing, but she just happens to make an abrupt turn then and bumps into him as he approaches.]

Sharpay? What are you doing?

[There's a hint of amusement in his voice as he looks at her.]

[Sharpay turns neatly on the spot to look at him as she takes a few backwards steps, miraculously managing not to bump into anyone else before she stops.]

I suppose I shall have to keep an eye out on quad-related activities during the carnival.

[Don't worry, Shar, Botan seems to live out here, too.

Botan tilts her head to the side, watching her friend as she moves about in what appears to be a random... but Sharpay's a drama teacher for a reason. Whenever Sharpay comes to a stopping point, Botan claps.]
