[at least the letter was fairly self-explanatory. If you could call that self-explanatory. whatever. At this present moment, you can find Germany wandering around. Well, not like he's lost but let's say like he's just trying to get the lay of the land. Learn his way around.

Okay, and yeah, he's lost.

Anyway feel free to run into him wherever is convenient! If your character is doing anything really unapt of a cadet feel free to assume you're being judged. A little. Maybe a lot. Your discretion.]

[BBS Post]

So this is some kind of mass forum system?

Oh dear. Have you had your own run-in with stupidity in the face of certain death as well? [Strider putting VITAL EQUIPMENT ON MY FUCKING ROOF is not helpful ok]

Statistics are fascinating in how they seem to fly in the face of reality, aren't they? I'm sorry that stupidity seems to be the common thread binding all universes together.

Somehow. I'd like to think it's owing more towards humanity's stubborn refusal to let its lesser members drag them all down than simple entropy and predestination, but some days it's very difficult to believe that.

[she chuckles a little and looks, down, shielding a small smile from view]

...yes, I can think of one or two people who make it worth slogging through the mediocrity.

Sometimes. Sometimes it's just a migraine waiting to happen.

They are, loath as I am to admit it.

At least two that I've been able to confirm, plus some strange alternate universe iterations.

[identity profile] bookshrew.livejournal.com 2011-07-12 04:36 am (UTC)(link)
My world lends itself to this sort of thing, so it's more of slight discomfort at having to actually confront the possibility than anything else for me. I imagine more 'normal' worlds would take it a bit more harshly.

[identity profile] bookshrew.livejournal.com 2011-07-12 04:39 am (UTC)(link)
More normal than a world that contains a semi-sentient world building video game, I'd imagine.

All a matter of flipping it turnways?

[identity profile] bookshrew.livejournal.com 2011-07-12 04:45 am (UTC)(link)
I don't usually, but it's apt enough that I feel comfortable temporarily borrowing from my brother's repertoire.

[identity profile] bookshrew.livejournal.com 2011-07-12 04:49 am (UTC)(link)
Everything can be bent to fit one's needs. It's all a matter of applying the correct amount of pressure in the right location.

Creating and correcting, but for the most part you're right.
