<sub>[In an effort to do some training on her own, and outside of any combat classes, Homura today is in the Training Center, battling against some of the weaker monsters there. While there were no witches here in this world, Homura still wants to become a better fighter, so fighting monsters it is.

If you happen to come across her today, you might notice that her fighting style seems to involve using explosives.

... If you're particularly keen enough, you might notice she's stopping and starting time.

Either way, Homura's not exactly a graceful fighter, and it kind of... shows. There's times where you have to wonder how she doesn't accidentally get caught in her own explosions.]</sub>

[Round two is a-go anytime she's willing! Apollo's not really attacking them so much as defending her from the oncoming attacks since he's more interested in what she can do.

Granted, if anything goes wrong, he can slice them in two, but that's not the point here.]

[ Adjusting to combat in this new world was like trying to learn to stand on a new limb. So many new possibilities, new combinations, new abilities... this led reaper and scythe to staying in the training center when they can.

Besides, T-Rexaurs couldn't reach the treetops and until they felt confident to take one on, trees were perfect for hanging out, taking a break and hiding like spineless chickens. Today, it was for watching.... and catching her breath.

But from up above comes an encouraging call. ]

[For a time traveler, Mikuru doesn't actually notice Homura's messing about with time. Nah, she just spots her classmate from Cadet Field Training and Tailoring and shifts her twin pistols to one hand so she can wave. Homura's lack of grace is very familiar to Mikuru, being a klutz who's trying to become a better fighter herself; the only difference is Mikuru has a few months' practice on Homura.]

That fighting style is cool...! [Well, more like Mikuru, a largely distance fighter, admires Homura's bravery in using explosives and getting a little too close to them sometimes.]

Ah... I-I'm not that brave, but thank you... Mami-san and Kaname-san back home were helping me find a way to fight, s-so... I started looking up how to make explosives.
