A short lesson on defining yourself [BBS/ACTION]
A lot of us here identify ourselves in a variety of fashions when it comes to romance, or simply self-awareness. Some of us do not need such an explanation. Some do, but are afraid of asking the right questions. Others may be in denial. Hopefully not violently so.
This is just a simple presentation of sorts to open up that can of worms. Take the bait if you wish, and lure in a breakthrough.
Please excuse the terrible drawings! This is not my forte. I do better with blood than colored pencils.

Figure 02

Still following?
Figure 03

Usually the term 'homosexual' is used across the board for both genders.
Of course there is the traditional FEMALE & MALE relationship, but my focus is not on this, and thus not in the illustration. I do not have a bias. I also ran out of space.
Figure 04

While for some, the decision comes easily, but for others, it's confusing. Human emotions are so fickle and volatile. Easily swayed by mixed signals. Who knows, really.
Figure 05

There are those that do not accept relationships as they naturally occur. In fact, those individuals view such relationships as unnatural. At best, they ignore such unsavory affairs. At worst, they try to END them through violence. Most times tragically.
I'm not sure what the standard is in other societies, but where I live, no one cares (as long as your job is done). In the human world, anything I have just mentioned above is explored in underground society, free of skepticism. It's all very hushed, you see.
The way you are born and raised is never a guarantee for how you'll turn out. Now, you may ask the classic question: 'how do you know these feelings?' Quite a loaded question, really. Ask yourself:
Does the thought of being intimate with your treasured person not make you uncomfortable, no matter the gender?
How long have these feelings lingered?
Do these thoughts come by fleetingly, or do they squat in your mind?
Alas, these questions may not even help much. I may have even caused more confusion! Oops! However, I'm not sorry at all.
I'll be available to answer questions, here or in private. It will be easy to spot me. And remember, there is no such thing as stupid questions. Just stupid people who do not bother.
