Does anyone know a good place to pick up clothes? I've seen so many different kinds with everyone here, and I'd like to get something new too. I haven't been out of Garden much because of my medication, so I'd appreciate any help.

I'd appreciate it! I don't have much beyond my dress and my uniform, and I've been saving up most of what I have.

Come along, dear! We need to get you a new look! You're covered in fur! [Loops her arm with Maria's and guides her out the Garden.]

[Finds Maria in the library, noticing her BBS post. It was really just a guess that she would be there. Sits next to her in a chair, silent at first. He hasn't seen her in a few days because he wanted some alone time. That last trip really hit home for him, although his talk with Espio helped. A lot.]

[Maria looks a mix of surprised and relieved to see him. Locking himself in his room had worried her, but without knowing many males, she hadn't really had a chance to ask them to go check on him. Which is why he has her immediate attention, even before he speaks.]

Sorry...I just... [Looks to the side, slightly frowning.] Remember how I said that the time compression is affecting most off-worlders?

I went back to Espio's world. There was another version of myself there. He destroyed the Special Zone... [Balls his fist up in anger, frustration...] I know that's not really me, but...I was like that once.

[Turns his attention to her.] I'm not sure, but...if you existed for him, it may have never happened... [Maria never existing. He couldn't fathom that.]

'No way would I have done that if I forgot about Maria's promise...'

[Maria looks understandably horrified, putting a hand over her mouth. After a moment, her free one goes over to squeeze Shadow's tightly.]

That's horrible...

[He doesn't outwardly react to her hand being there, yet he doesn't remove it. It feels...nice. Kind of grounding.]

We couldn't do anything about it. Pretty sure we weren't supposed to. [Pauses for a moment.] I needed to think all that over. I didn't mean to worry you.

Yeah.

I've only ever seen what my grandfather or the other scientists wore or got for me, so it's all strange.
