One Leaf [Action // Anywhere you want him!]
[ Matthew hadn't been back long. He was still dressed in his SeeD uniform from the mission and was pacing somewhat nervously down the halls.
He had a note in his hand, the one from the headmaster about the disappearing offworlders. That never boded well. There was little to be done about Time Compression but he would at least keep his eyes open for anything suspicious.
And hopefully he could give a hand to any new cadets without them flipping out over these apparent disappearings. Nothing like a school full of panic.
At least he had some time to get his lesson plans together for the new term. He'd been super late getting back. (He fell asleep on the way back and somehow wound up across the continent oops.) and so he had to take these small silver linings where he could. ]

I — sorry...
S-Sob. Why you do dis to him
I heard from Greece that you were here.
I never got to give the last Canada I played with a hard time 8)
It's not his fault you two look the same.]It's... good t'see you. [Off-Earth Time Compression considered and whatnot. Egypt offers his right hand for a shake, part in greeting and part in apology.
Seriously. Never gonna happen again.]
/witholds any and all pancakes from 8|
You, too.
Ah, were you going into the training center?
...Wait. 8(
Maybe. [He rolls his shoulder a bit, adjusting the position of the service rifle weighing it down, and casts a side glance towards the training center.]
B<
[Also he notes the rifle. He certainly looked ready to go in.]
It's good for practice. It's not usually recommended to go alone, though.
[Not said in an accusing or lecturing tone, simply a comment.]

...Kids don't belong there. [That's what Egypt still considers a fair chunk of the cadets and SeeDs here to be: kids. He won't ask them to go with him.
Plus, Greece was still napping last he'd checked...]
no subject
Not really.
[Not that he could do anything about who was let in there or not.]
[He side-glances at him, mentally debating whether or not he should offer to go with him.]
no subject
Ever been there?
[Egypt's glancing at Canada's uniform again before meeting his gaze. SeeD. He's been here a long time, then, if he's already one. He's had to fight. How did Egypt not notice the other nation's presence sooner?
Stupid question. It's Canada.]no subject
Mm. Quite a few.
[Egypt may also notice the semi-automatic pistol strapped to his belt/leg.]
no subject
[Well, if Canada isn't going anywhere else at the moment.]
no subject
Of course.
[He took a moment to pat his belt and make sure he had adequate ammunition before walking to join him.]
no subject
When'd you get SeeD...? [He doesn't look like he's in any hurry to get to the training center. Canada wouldn't mind some chatter, would he? As much chatter as you could get out of Egypt, at least.]
no subject
Hm? Oh, ah, about a year ago, I think. How long have you been at Garden? [Small talk is totally cool.]
no subject
[He'll go crazy if he winds up getting stuck here for a year.]
no subject
Two months... I think I was away most of that time.
What's ah, what's your specialization?
no subject
Herp derp, mun fail.Egypt shrugs his shoulder and lifts the rifle's strap in response. Firearms.]Easiest, I guess... [The most familiar in recent years. Not as easy as the non-physical specializations, but to Egypt, those aren't as useful here. Not for him.]
no subject
[He was clumsy enough as it was, after all. He didn't need something giving him an extra hard time to carry around.]
Have you taken any Intel electives?
no subject
kidsother cadets. Beginner level stuff felt like review anyway.]...? [A questioning glance. Um. He's still adjusting to the whole "being back in a school system" thing. Which classes would those be again?]
