One Leaf [Action // Anywhere you want him!]

[ Matthew hadn't been back long. He was still dressed in his SeeD uniform from the mission and was pacing somewhat nervously down the halls.

He had a note in his hand, the one from the headmaster about the disappearing offworlders. That never boded well. There was little to be done about Time Compression but he would at least keep his eyes open for anything suspicious.

And hopefully he could give a hand to any new cadets without them flipping out over these apparent disappearings. Nothing like a school full of panic.

At least he had some time to get his lesson plans together for the new term. He'd been super late getting back. (He fell asleep on the way back and somehow wound up across the continent oops.) and so he had to take these small silver linings where he could. ]

Of course. It just seems oddly suspicious that it's specifically sending people back to someone's world to what....relive a memory?

[He sighs.] I hope it doesn't happen again either. There's no telling what kind of worlds people could get sent to.

[Yeah, most of his significant points in history involve wars. That would not end well.]

You're telling me. Last thing I'd want to rope people into is superhero crap... [sighs, shaking his head] I agree, it's suspicious, but I don't think there's anything we could do about it right now either.

Or world wars. [Ugh.]

As usual. [Sighs.] So, that aside, what else have you been up to, Tom?

[werepanther]

The usual! You know, sleeping, eating... sleeping some more, maybe grabbing a smoke here and there... [sheepish shrug] But no, break's been pretty good.

After my last mission, everything's been pretty chill.

[He cracks a grin at that. Same old Tom.]

I heard we went to Esthar for break. How was that?

Lifeless as usual. [can't help returning the grin] But the food was good and the Cadets enjoyed the field trips, so it was worth it.
