[ Matthew hadn't been back long. He was still dressed in his SeeD uniform from the mission and was pacing somewhat nervously down the halls.

He had a note in his hand, the one from the headmaster about the disappearing offworlders. That never boded well. There was little to be done about Time Compression but he would at least keep his eyes open for anything suspicious.

And hopefully he could give a hand to any new cadets without them flipping out over these apparent disappearings. Nothing like a school full of panic.

At least he had some time to get his lesson plans together for the new term. He'd been super late getting back. (He fell asleep on the way back and somehow wound up across the continent oops.) and so he had to take these small silver linings where he could. ]

Like us? No. At least, I've yet to meet them if there are, but there is still quite a lot of interesting politics in this place.

I can't complain too much. I haven't seen home in a long time, but this place has been really welcoming to people like us.

You could. Time Compression is a funny thing. I've ...seen people come and go a lot. You could be gone tomorrow or you could be here two years from now. I...um. I wish I had a better answer but...

Well, he's extremely enthusiastic about magic. I didn't have him back when I was still a cadet, but I'm sure he does a good job.

Ah, it's a pretty big place. I'm pretty sure I still get lost sometimes.
