SCENE ONE: Backdated to last Monday
[Sharpay is a woman on a mission! All around campus, she's alternately sticking up posters or stuffing them into copies of the newsletter she finds still lying around:

Romeo and Juliet
William Shakespeare

Directed by DRA 101 instructors

Saturday April 9th | 2100 - 2300 | Quad

Must show valid Garden ID at the door

(OOC: The play is not actually going to be logged out, because I expect if anyone here really wants to read Shakespeare, you don't really need the copypasta. :) However! Here is a thread for right after the show where we can confirm stuff we want to have happened so people can react in more detail beyond "it happened, I fell asleep because Shakespearian English is confusing"; this thread is the "scene two" backdated to last Saturday. Here were some ideas if anyone wants their character to have done something reactable! And seeing as the drama classes were small, auditions and crew would have been opened up to the rest of Garden if anyone else wants a character involved in the production.)

[Mikuru actually missed a cue or two, which resulted in some actors awkwardly standing on stage like they were supposed to have shot someone but without the lasers, the shot person didn't act shot.]

[Marco, having read the original play, just finds this all hilariously amusing as he works lights. At least he's able to keep his face smooth and not burst out laughing, though he expected a certain drama queen to throw a fit.]

[Actually didn't fall asleep for once! Tom was backstage, ensuring that the balcony - and the other heavy set pieces - didn't crumble or break, but this play was eons better than he expected.

Of course, some set pieces - like a couple of benches - failed to come on stage at their proper times. Honestly, Tom was just glad the balcony didn't break until after it came off stage.]

[Grell, although peeved that Juliet's dress was exchanged for some military fashion FAIL, pressed on as any starlet would! This reaper knew every line, and his performance of the star-crossed lover of Romeo was perfect.

His only wish was for the spotlight to get his good side. And for Fates sake, would it kill stage crew to send out props ON TIME?!]
