For those who haven't heard, Instructor Sunarrow and I have finally returned. For all those new Cadets, I am Instructor Dragonsblood, and it's a pleasure to meet you.

Every weekday for the rest of the Quarter, I will be conducting a sort of "preparation" class before light's out on Enchanting and Tailoring. It isn't worth a credit at the moment, but it will give you a chance to see if you might be interested in taking either of them next Quarter when they're added to the list. If you'd like to sign up for them, come ask me or simply show up, and we'll get you settled.

Both of us will be in the Quad for the next little while if anyone needs us.

I suppose, but I sort of missed it. I know they did. [Katsura gestures to her scampering pets. Well. Except the fox.] They don't like being cooped up, even when they know better.

Well, his sense of smell is better than mine, and at least you and I both know what you're trying to cover up with that perfume. He can't help himself.

That would sort of defeat the purpose, though. [Finally Kat manages to wrestle the fox away from gnawing on Kurt. Mostly through use of a stick. Who loves a stick, oh yes he does. It at least keeps him occupied...]

At least he's the only one with a streak of mischief.

And at least he can't bite through my armor like a majority of your bigger ones.

That's why we keep Walky under wraps. He's really the only one who could bite through your armor. All Snowflake does is steal your swords. But he's been trained to do that.

Not just yours. He's trained to disarm, actually. Safer to have your sword snatched by him than have your wrist perforated by an arrow, after all. Isn't it?

Oh, wow, Enchanting sounds really interesting. And I've enjoyed the sewing and clothing patterns we've been doing in Home Economics so far, so Tailoring sounds good too. I think I'll come to your preparation class!
