[BBS] International Talk Like A Pirate Day

So I don't know how many other worlds have this; if any, but back home it's Talk Like a Pirate Day. While it's mostly used as an excuse to sound like a moron who never brushes his teeth, or had them all knocked out in a bar-fight, it usually works to pick up chicks and get completely drunk. Not that any of you should do that since none of you can hold your liquor like an actual pirate. You're all welcome, however, to try to mimic the pirates you're familiar with and wander around trying to con parrots into hanging out with you.

I even have free eye-patches for everyone who wants one. If you're fast, you can even get a colored one!

You can also use this as an "Ask a Pirate" post for any of your piratical questions.

Oh wow... [Eyes widen slightly and beams, still talking like himself.] It's gorgeous. Grell, thank you! [Kisses cheek and uses some sleight of hand to put a ball of red yarn in Grell's pocket.]

Hah~ where did you find it?

In a store. [Giggles softly and looks to the book, tracing the cover fondly, his voice soft and mysterious.] It was crying out to be taken home. To a proper owner... [Green eyes slid over to Marco with a smirk.] I think I fooooouunnnnd him~.

[Beams and laughs.] I'll be sure to give it a proper home full of the love and attention it deserves. [Pets under Grell's chin.]

I'm afraid in order for me to act like a pirate from my world, I'm going to need a colorful, frilly outfit, a not so silly looking hat, a gun... and several Immortals to shoot at and taunt.

And I suppose a ship, if we're aiming for accuracy.

Well the Garden acts as a ship. And I have a purple shirt you can borrow. It's authentically pirate. Since it's mine. No frills though. And I only have a fedora I use for disguising as a marine spy. Vista's more the top-hat type.
