[Because Gakupo semi-accidentally convinced him to, and Marco wrote this TO THE BBS after a long day of studies, club duties, general life duties, and yes, phoenixes DO get tired enough to make mistakes. See? Downsides to keeping diaries on computers. Naughty computers.]
Dear Diary,
This is my third entry and it still seems silly. However, at least I'll be able to track my own memories as much as possible if this place affects things even accidentally. Still a pirate. It's harder than it looks to keep in practice. Somewhat easy since the Garden travels, but that still means sticking to petty things since there's no time to establish anything. Besides, Commodore Ace is as smart as his counterpart, and it's still impossible to say how much of my tricks he knows or remembers.
We were forced to switch partners in Ballroom dancing for the start of the Tango. Grell was not pleased. To put it mildly. Which reminds me I should get her some roses next chance I get. Toby seems to be handling the Self Defense class a little better of late. Hopefully because Espio's been a good influence. Criminal Justice is going over the prison "corrections" system here. It's less drastic than Impel Down, but then, what isn't?
I still remember Pops, Thatch, and all the commanders, even all the men in my division and the captains of Pops' allies. If time really is passing back home, I have no clue what Jozu, Vista, and Izou will be up to. Hopefully they've got enough sense to follow through on the plans and, much as I hate to admit it, ask Shanks as needed. Of course, I still don't summon the GFs often, but as some of the memory alterations might still be from something else entirely, better to keep track.
As always, there seems too much to keep track of in a page, but after finishing D.C. rounds I just want sleep. And I really should get better about giving out those slips, but it's just too much paperwork. I'll leave it to Ryoji and Sokka.
It's September 16th, but still seems to feel like Summer. Maybe that's normal for this world. I should look up more on the weather patterns next time I have free time in the library. If that ever happens.
