Week II, HEC 101, F1400

[ While today is a free period and there were possible better things to do with her time, Minako's in class anyway, soft music playing in the room through her headphones and MP3 set in a empty spot on the table.

The table she's at is filled with all kinds of ingredients, from raisins to chocolate to peanuts -- it's probably obvious from the cutters and the dough she's working on that she's planning to make cookies, the same as Monday's class, only far more adventurous now. ]

[Ken just kind of wandering around when he walks by the room and spots Minako there. She looks like she's making something even though class is over with. He stops for a moment to think about if he should talk to her...]

[ Minako isn't too aware at first that Ken's standing right there as she snacks on a piece of chocolate thoughtfully. She's had lunch but couldn't resist a piece of the chocolate laid on the table-- Make that two pieces.

It's a few seconds later that she turns around, having felt somebody looking at her... Oh! Surprised, his name slips out of her mouth before she can stop herself. ]

Ken-kun!

[ Surprise gone, Minako smiles. ] Good afternoon!

[ einiona is taking the fact that she's a recent returnee to the land of the educable by way of traumatic time displacement as the perfect justification for skipping a few classes to reacquaint herself with the lay of the land; after all, it's not like she'll get much use out of the classes yet anyway, she figures. this classroom appears to be new - or, well, the part where nobody and nothing's stopping her from waltzing right in is, she's not sure which is more accurate. it's not in a part of Garden she had a chance to get familiar with, at any rate. when she peers her head in and spots a stranger, she responds about how you'd expect - ... er, if you're acquainted with einiona's special definition of "normal behavior", that is: she decides whoever it is doesn't look busy enough to be off-limits, and promptly goes to annoy them until they tell her to leave. ]

What you up to? - oooh, cookies! Can I have one when you're done?

[ Minako's plenty surprised by the sudden intrusion -- it's not that she minds, she doesn't, but she had not expected anyone to come over into class at this time of the day.

Before she can answer the question, however, the other girl answers herself and Minako nods to reaffirm that observation.

At the second question, she beams. ]

Sure! More than one, if you like. There'll be more than enough cookies when I'm done.

[Grell was no too far away, reading his noted very carefully about this whole...cookie making business. It seemed easier, and safer. Crack an egg...or two? Oh, his notes got smudged somehow! Well nevertheless...

Goes to crack one and most of it falls into the bowl, shell and all. He panics, but luckily, that was the first ingredient and could be easily picked out.]

I'll never get this out in time... [Uses a fork to pick out the eggshell pieces.]

[ Minako glances over when she hears somebody speak. Curiously, she looks to Grell. ]

Are you having trouble? Do you need any help?

whoa! I totally forgot about this! >.>; it's okay!

Well...maybe. [Frustrated sigh.] I need help getting some eggshells out of this, but it's going terribly!

First of all, you don't need to get all of it out, just the largest pieces. And you can use the largest piece to remove the smaller ones too.
