Espio o5: Espio is back. Somehow.
[ooc: kinda backdated to just before Espio gets himself re-enrolled and whatnot.]
[One small pink lizard approaches the Garden entrance, looking just a little bit worse for wear. Once he passes the gate, he immediately locates a low wall and flops onto it. Yes, he's completely worn out.]
Finally!
[Back in the Garden! After a couple of weeks tracking it down, since it's gone and moved - at least it wasn't at sea! Espio's just glad it was less trouble than it could have been - it was sheer fortune that he heard about it being in Dollet, and invisibility was so helpful when stowing away on public (and some not-so-public) transport.
The chameleon stretches, happy to have a chance to sit down. Still, there's a small noise as his stomach rumbles.]
Maybe I should go to the cafeteria first...
[He doesn't move, though.]

Well, of course it can. It's Justice, eh? [Says the word justice a little differently, much more pronounced and sounding like the clanging of a jail cell.]

With a side of protecting the innocent.

It's the main thing, at any rate. The primary purpose of having laws is to protect people and their rights.

Man, are you optimistic, eh? So does Justice really succeed at that in your world, or are you just ready to whole-heartedly believe in the cause.

In my world law is considered absolute justice, with no second-guessing it.

Law's just a set of rules that claim to be justice, to me. Not all of them actually are. Part of the reason I'm more of a "vigilante" I suppose...
[]
Well. Somewhat. I fit into the general "crime fighter" category as far as home goes, but it's not like we're hired or paid for this.

Different worlds, eh. I guess that means you're not a marine, but it beats me what that would make you. Maybe a little more like Jinbei, but I suppose that depends on how you feel about criminals at all.

I go by the "are they a threat" rule. If they cause harm and destruction and mayhem, you bet I'm gonna take 'em down.

Perhaps. But typically, they don't kidnap old men for mind control purposes, cause nuclear explosions in heavily populated areas, attempt to infect an entire city with a potent and deadly virus, cackle and scream stuff about how the'll destroy this and that and the other...

Except nuclear explosions. Unless those are like a buster call, in which case I take it back and just about all of those are.
