[Along the Dollet Beach students from the academy seem to have set up a small little beach party. There are blankets, coolers, Grell in a bikini, and even Marco is just hanging out in his beach shorts (although you won't ever see him go in the water.) There's even a beach volleyball area set up. Purely for the viewing pleasure of the guys watching. Seeing the scene you would never expect lots of violence that was about to befall.]

[Starled, Grell jumps back, chainsaw in one hand and drink in the other.]

[It would go lovely with the pineapple hair.]

Is armor girl with you? [Looks around the place, sipping casually.]

[Takes said umbrella and puts it in his hair.]

This seems like a good place. [Took the threat more violently and wanted to head it off.]

[And lo and behold, she appears with her trusty spear on her back and, yes, she's wearing the armor.]

[Just as Grell was about to take back her umbrella, there was a new voice, and indeed, it was armor girl. With a huge spear.]

Blame him. [Points to Marco with a grin.]

Ah, but there are worse nicknames to receive, no? [Really you should hear some of the ones he has for his crew members. Like Trap-chan.]

[Grell could only snicker softly, hoisting his chainsaw onto his shoulder.]

[A last second stretch, making sure to kick and make sure he's warmed up, blue fire rippling over his shoulders.]

All right, let's do this ladies. [Grins with excitement, blue fires burning behind the blue eyes.]

Comforting. ... I think. [She laughs, then shrugs.] I'll follow you.

[Tosses aside cocktail glass, hearing it shatter on the floor before taking his chainsaw in both hands before revving it up.]

I'm ready~.

[Doesn't say another word, just leads the way up the stairs, looking around and taking it all in, blue fire still protectively coating one of his arms.]

[Might jump a little when Grell revs the chainsaw. Don't mind her giving it a wide eyed stare, before shaking her head. She'll get used to all this newfangled technology eventually. When Marco takes point, she'll take up the rear guard easily enough.]

[Grell pays her reaction no mind and happily takes up the middle, humming along in anticipation.]

[And the beast doesn't bother to make its presence unknown-- after all, they have disturbed his sleep. There's a rush of air when the Elvoret descends upon the trio, wings beating languidly as he hovers in the air. A mighty roar follows before he makes a swipe of his claws, his anger obvious.]

[Admittedly that was a LOT bigger than Marco had expected for the siren he'd envisioned as being more like a female Jinbei when made, but with a voice to drive men insane. Fortunately however, Marco had been known to deal with giants. Even his own adopted father would be considered a giant by most people's definitions.]

DUCK!

[Doesn't even give them to react just tugs Grell and Akiela down by the shoulders and protectively covers them with warm blue wings before rolling the side, getting up to fight for the next dive by.]

[She lets out a small "Oof!" as Marco snags her by her shoulder and yanks her to the ground. Falling in plate mail = not fun. Once he's done protecting her, she resists the urge to sigh, instead pushing herself to her feet and drawing her spear. She won't charge in yet, not until she's certain they're all ready to fight.]

That's a new one... almost looks like a demon.

[There was little time to react when Grell was tugged down, protected by Marco's wings. His grip on his scythe tightens instinctively before looking at their new play pal.

Stands up straight with a grin that meant there were fun times ahead. Guess this day is getting better!]

Doesn't matter in the end~. [He could already feel the anticipation, and hear it in his scythe.]

[The missed hit only infuriates the monster. Another loud shriek piercing the air, the Elvoret begins to beat its wings haphazardly, the dust below him kicking up and sending a mighty gust of wind to the trio of humans.]

[The wind sends Marco back up against the walls, even without the wings out currently, it's still a weakness for the flying devil fruit user. Still, he force himself back up closer, trying to figure out how to hit the thing while it's in the air.]

[Even with her armor, that wind is starting to push at her. With gritted teeth, she glances at Marco and Grell and gives a thumbs down before pointing at Elvoret. She's going to bring it down.

Whether they understand or not, she reverses her grip on her spear and suddenly dashes forward, straining her thighs against the wind before jumping into the air, leaping to an impossibly high height, aiming to crash down on the monster's back.]
