[ Back in Garden, while listening to music from her MP3, Minako is semi-lost but enjoying the experience as she takes a stroll around the first level.

In fact, it's the second time she's circling the ring of the the first level, peering curiously at but not entering any of the sections just yet.

And if nobody stops her, it seems like she's starting to circle around a third time.

Hello, Minako. There is someone here to help you! ... maybe. There definitely does seem to be a young boy (...boy, right?) approaching, all smiles and nervousness like he's not really quite sure how he's supposed to be approaching this but he really would like to help. He looks like he wants to say something, but the words won't come out - at least, he hasn't said anything.]

[ While she did get the feeling somebody was watching her, she had merely shrugged it off and continue walking. As she's approached, however, Minako loses the thoughtful expression, smiling instead at the stranger in front of her. ]

Ah, hello! Is something wrong?

[He looks around a bit, then frowns - he'd forgotten his whiteboard in his backpack. Holding up a hand, as if to say, 'hang on, please!', he gets his pack off his back and reaches in to take out... well, a whiteboard (some sort of fancy-dancy technological one?) and a pen that appears to go with it.

... and then writes, straightening up so he can show it to her without her bending down to read.]

You looked lost. [His body posture, though, is giving off the impression that there should be at least two "ums" and "ers" somewhere in that sentence.]

[ She waits, looking on with interest and curiosity as the stranger takes out - oh! Minako reads the message when it's written at last and scratches the side of her face sheepishly. ]

Just a little! I'm new here and I wanted to explore but I'm not sure where to start.

[ She claps her hands together, getting an idea. ] Say, you're not a new student, right?

[He shakes his head - nope, not new at all. Oh, he'd better clarify that, so the pen and board come out again (or rather, get erased and re-written on).]

No. I'm from here. :)

[He doesn't need to ask if she's an offworlder; he already gets that impression, really. Most of the people who wander around lost are.]

[ Minako freezes mid-step when she hears that voice, having heard rather than seen Ryoji first. She glances up, eyes wide. ]

Ryoji-ku-

[ And stops herself, covering her mouth, when she feels the absence of the link. A moment later, Minako drops her hands, smiling. ]

I'm exploring! And you?

[It was impossible to miss the fact that, while Ryoji didn't know the girl's name, she certainly knew his.

Still, he smiles and gives her a small chuckle.]

Trying not to get lost actually.

[And now he has to grin, though rather apologetically.]

And it seems that my way around isn't the only thing I've don't know. I wish I could say that I know your name since you know mine, but I don't make it a habit to lie to pretty girls.

[ Beat. ] You're Ryoji-kun, right? The new transfer student in Gekkoukan High.

[Hearing her last name, Ryoji can't help but stop and stare for a moment before laughing.]

Wow. You have the same last name as a friend of mine and a similar first name. Are you two related? You knew about Gekkoukan and my transfer as well. If I didn't know any better, I'd say you were a mind reader.

[ While Minako feels somebody's eyes on her, she glances around but doesn't notice Ken yet.

Minako eventually comes to a stop outside the library, looking at the door hesitantly, trying to decide whether she should go in or not.

She turns her head to the side, glancing at the next section - the training centre, which sounds interesting to look at as well.

Hands on her hips, Minako gives a small sigh, wondering how to pick. ]

[Ken takes this chance to walk up to her and see the reason to be running around in circles multiple times.]

[ She's going to jump when she hears another familiar voice. Turning around, her eyes widen in surprise, and she defaults to speaking Japanese: ]

...Ken-kun? What are you doing here?
